The food was incredible! My friend and I got two different sandwiches and a rice ball. We were blown away by how delicious the food was. And the owner is super personable and lovely. Definitely can’t wait to go back!

We have been waiting for a little Sicilian gem to open here in Sarasota and finally we have one. We were received by friendly and almost familiar faces! We did an arancini tasting here today and it was delicious! A nice variety to please everyone! We leaned toward the traditional carne and it was as if my mom made them.The ham and cheese is the runner up, followed by the gorgonzola w/sausage.The rapini and the spinach are next on my list to try. A selection of Sicilian street food, specialty drinks, cheeses, traditional packaged pasta ,cookies, and more in addition to gelato, baked goods.

Stopped in last night right before they closed and the owner, Massimo was incredible! He explained everything on his menu, let me test a few things out and I ended up leaving with 3 new favorite foods! Everything they make is in-house with Sicilian ingredients. The pizza is like none you’ve ever had before with dough so delicate it melts in your mouth! I tried 2 different Aracini balls and they were so delicious! The one thing that blew my taste buds out of the water was the Cremino di Caffe….it’s this creamy espresso drink that was incredible! I will be returning DAILY for that! Also the Granita di Limone (think Limoncello Icee) was also refreshing and delicious!! I can’t wait to explore more of this menu. WOO HOO Sarasota has a REAL Italian place now!

Went back today (6 months later see initial review below) and was completely disappointed. I’ve changed my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I understand that this was the last day before the store closed for vacation, but the Schiacciata Siciliana that we ordered to go was inedible. Barely any mozzarella and the main piece of eggplant was completely skin. Even the bread although crispy on top, the bottom (which should have been the same) was rubbery (all for $18). I was involved in the restaurant industry before retiring and I rarely give bad reviews because I know how difficult it is to always be consistent — but this was totally unacceptable.
