A very nice surprise awaits you in this land of seafood. We enjoyed an early dinner of salads and pasta. I had the gluten free cheese tortellini with vodka sauce (special) and omg, delicious! Maybe it’s because they have a gf option, but the sauce was to die for. My husband enjoyed veggie garlic lemon sauce with angel hair pasta. We will certainly back! I also appreciate that they don’t go overboard on the decor. Feels like they are paying attention to the food and experience rather than overdoing the atmosphere.

We had baked caprese salad and a small Mediterranean salad as an appetizer. They were both delicious and fresh tasting! We then ordered lasagna and Italian vegetable pasta for our entrees. They were some of the best dishes we have had while staying on SGI! It was such a delight to escape the deep-fried seafood for a night! We are definitely going back! Don’t pass this place up! You won’t regret it!

Mangia is a hidden gem in Eastpoint, FL, serving up Italian-American comfort food with a bold, unexpected twist. The chef, who’s originally from New Orleans, brings a Creole flair to the menu, especially in their marinara sauce. It’s not your typical marinara—it’s got an assertive sweetness and a depth of flavor that makes every dish pop.

The Fried Green Tomato Parmesan is a must-try. They swapped eggplant for green tomatoes when quality eggplants were hard to find, and honestly, it’s an upgrade! Another favorite is the veggie-stuffed shells with creamy ricotta and a dreamy white sauce—pure comfort on a plate. Meat lovers, don’t miss the meatballs with their “Aurora” sauce, a perfect mix of tangy marinara and rich Alfredo.

If you’re tired of oysters and shrimp and want something hearty, Mangia is the spot. It’s cozy, unpretentious, and full of flavor—worth the stop every time!

Amazing food, especially desserts, and service! Atmosphere I dropped off a star, only because it’s a large room and when full can get pretty loud and over-stimulating. The menu is limited (but plenty to choose from and high quality ingredients), which just means that everything is delicious, as opposed to a large menu of food that is just “ok”. The staff was very welcoming and attentive and gave options to make the meal kid friendly. The desserts were my favorite part! The meal was extremely memorable and worth every penny, I’d highly recommend to anyone and cannot wait to return on our next trip!

A taste of Italy at the beach! Took a party of 8 to this restaurant on a Friday night. Was able to call ahead and make a reservation same day. The atmosphere was great. Service was exceptional. And the food…the food was delicious.

The chef special was blue crab ravioli. It was great, but the Bolognese sauce stole the show. Our kids loved the chicken parmesan.

You should definitely try this place when you’re visiting SGI.

Amazing. We’re glad we finally stopped in here for dinner! Great little spot near the water and the food was delish. We had the lasagna and eggplant, both were really good. The salad before dinner was really fresh. The bread was a great touch with everything else. It’s small so suggest getting there early or making a reservation. The customer service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

Mangia was recommended to me by a local, and it did not disappoint. I typically avoid crossing the bridge once I’m settled on the island, but I was in desperate need of a lasagna dinner for arriving guests. Kim was incredibly accommodating and really took care of us. The lasagna, salad, and bread were fantastic—honestly, the food was so authentic that my guests thought I had been prepping in the kitchen all day! I highly recommend Mangia if you are looking for a high-quality Italian meal.

Great local Italian restaurant in the heart of Eastpoint, across from the bay. Short drive from SGI, Apalachicola and Carrabelle areas. I had the French dip and it was delicious We are known for seafood in our area, but this place should be on your list if you are in the area. Eat up!

We enjoyed the spaghetti and a big meatball. The server did fine even though the cashier lady kept interjection. Lasagna was yummy. The kids loved the butter noodles. My wine tasted a little old. It’s a nice place.
