Great addition to the Madina’s family with a laid back vibe on the North shore. Simple, expected menu items per the NOLA location… Seafood and Italian staples. The veal picatta, and Parmesan were outstanding, but I personally found the Marsala a little too sweet. The Caesar salad was a wee bit over-dressed, but I’m that way about salad dressing (not too much, please). Overall, a solid and enjoyable no-fuss experience!

Delicious food and huge portions. We had the special chicken cracklin with spicy ranch for an appetizer and Chicken Piccata and Veal Parmesan. The Piccata was amazing and the meals came in a huge portion. The side ceasar salad was also the best we’ve had.

The portions are generous and easily enough for a second meal! Even the lunch portions are very nice!
Love the red sauce. Meaty, well seasoned and just slightly sweet.
The meatballs are as big as a baseball ⚾️!!

I am so happy that we decided to try this restaurant! The restaurant looks so much bigger than it looks from the outside, definitely can accommodate a large party. The food is delicious and huge portions! Can’t wait to come back and try other menu!

Our high school class had a luncheon here. The food and service were excellent. I especially appreciated that French bread was served with our meal. Sadly this New Orleans tradition has been discontinued in many restaurants. Our waiters were attentive to our every need.

The food was delicious as usual. My salmon was medium rare just like I asked and very good! They were very sweet and offered to grill my kiddo’s chicken for the chicken parmesan since she is allergic to shellfish & all the fried food goes in the same fryer. Glad they were able to accommodate. Thanks for a lovely meal.

We did have a large party. The servers didn’t communicate with each other at all. One group had already ordered food and when we asked our waiter he said no they only ordered drinks. We asked the group and they had already placed orders. Everyone’s food came out at separate times. The worse part is 2 ppl one of them being my son didn’t get their food until everyone else had already ate. We ended up splitting mine and got his to go. Then no ones check was remotely close to being right. It was a nightmare all the way around. Maybe good for small groups but not for large parties.

We go here at least once every two weeks. The food is great, the turtle soup is awesome and I love the fried porkchop the size of a dinner plate . It’s all good and I always have had great service. It’s one of our main go to places. We love it .

Seafood platter was not seasoned and had no flavor. Shrimp was not fried long enough, oysters was mushy,fried fish was bland, red beans and rice had no salt/seasoning at all. The crab ball was toooooo salty.
