I have never been to Mandez before. A friend gave me a gc.
I opened the container it was over full with shrimp. 22 I counted. They were cooked Perfect! The right amount of spice. The french fries were a unique cut and cooked crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The hushpuppies were also very good.
If you haven’t tried them make it on your to go list.
If the shrimp is this good , I cant wait to go back and try another dish.

So good!!! My real estate team arranged a birthday lunch for me and it was my first time eating here. The staff was excellent and the food was incredible. The atmosphere was fantastic. I’ll be coming back 🙂

Atmosphere is welcoming & authentic (love the tables). Our waiter, Shane was great. Friendly and intelligent. The food was equally great. We can’t wait to return to try other dishes. Parking is somewhat limited, but there are neighboring parking lots.

First time, burger was amazing when the owner was there before the new location. Second time…okay…egg rolls way too much rice. Third time…seafood platter wayyy too salty. Looks really good. I want the owner to come back to the Lafayette location. We miss you. However, I will be back. I just need to request adjustments.

Had the ragin Cajun burger and the pulled pork Nachos. Amazing Match up. Wish I could’ve gone again before I left but definitely a place you can eat multiple times as well as has a very interesting menu with a great variety. The service was top notch and very helpful with selection.

I had heard about this place on radio ads and decided to give it a try. Very small and just off the beaten path so I wasn’t expecting for the prices to be so high for a standard dinner. My daughter and I got the kung fu stack salad with the seared tuna, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got a panini and said it was just ok. I’d love to go back on a day when we’re not strapped for time and try some of the other things on the menu.

It was my first time at Mandez’s and I was not disappointed. The BBQ pulled pork nachos were some of the best that I’ve had. The Kicked Up wrap was the best wrap I’ve ever eaten. The flavors were fresh and delicious. The fried chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The chicken was also made to order so it came out super fresh. The staff was also very friendly and the service was great. I highly recommend Mandez’s!

This is a delightful restaurant! It’s on the smaller side, but doesn’t feel tight. Service was great. Our server checked on us throughout our meal and was friendly. The food was delicious! We had the OMG Shrimp app, and the shrimp were fried perfectly and yhe flavors were on point. My husband had the pork filet, and I had the Screaming Pig Panini. I had a bite of his pork and it was terrific. My panini was super yummy. The pork was smoky and tender. The fries were really unique and super tasty! Definitely will be back to try more of the menu!

Cute little restaurant with killer food. We had the queso (with real homemade chips), seafood eggrolls, ragin Cajun burger, and the flat iron steak (which was so good I dug into it before I could take a decent pic). Everything was delicious, full of flavor and completely original. The service was unbeatable and the chef even came out to help people pick between one awesome dish and the next, offering samples. Great draft beer selection too! We’ll be back!
