I met my friend for lunch today. The food is great. Everything was cooked to order and came out hot and fresh, including fries. My friend had the speedy and the beignets. She said it was delicious. The chicken was perfect and the bread was soft. I ordered a double trouble, shoestring fries and a cookie. The staff are great, accommodating, care about your experience. We enjoyed our meal. I’ll be returning soon to try more menu items.

(spiedie is a sandwich originating from Binghamton, New York, made of marinated, cubed meat (traditionally lamb, but now commonly chicken, pork, or beef) that is skewered, grilled, and served on a slice of Italian bread. The meat is marinated for at least 48 hours in a zesty mixture of oil, vinegar, garlic, and herbs, which tenderizes it and gives it a unique flavor!) Shoestring fries AND waffle fries were excellent!! Store is easy access and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible Italian sandwich. Loaded with meats, fresh toppings, and the softest bread ever. The pesto mayo is next level and ties everything together perfectly. Easily the best Italian sub I’ve had. Also, their smash burgers are some of the best in town.
The place is very comfy and clean, the crew is friendly, and the service is quick and great.

I tried Manders 22 today for the first time. I would consider myself somewhat critical, I’ve spent 30 years in the restaurant business and have certain expectations. The food was outstanding, I had the traditional spiedie with skinny fries. Everything was perfect. The timing, the flavor, the textures, the bread, the fries and more importantly great service. It’s refreshing to walk into a place where everyone seems to be enjoying themselves while working. Thank you for bringing a touch of the Northeast to St. John’s County. Wishing you all a success in the world!

Ok, went here today for a late lunch because I was craving a smash burger and it did not disappoint! This picture is misleading because of the angle I took it but if you’re like me; I must eat my fries first for them to be worth the calories and these were perfectly salted and so crispy. I asked for well done fries and they were fried fresh; nice and hot. The burger was cheesy, crispy delicious edges on the burger, fresh shaved onions and pickles with their tangy Manders sauce with a fresh, soft and toasted bun. Not too mention the owner himself made my order for me! Will be back!

Love their food! Had their Italian sub. So juicy and delicious. Definitely try their signature Spiedie! Such flavorful chicken. It’s marinated for at least 24 hours so you know it’s good. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I go by every time I’m in the area and you should too!

Great place for a delicious smash burger and fries. I had the waffle fries, which were good, but my wife had the skinny fries, and I think next time I would go with those instead. The burger was well seasoned and just the right size (mine was the two patty option). I’m glad this place opened up near me, and I look forward to being a regular here.

French fries were decent but I really liked the dipping sauce more, it was less eating fries with dipping sauce and more eating dipping sauce using my fries
Overall the food quality was on point and I only spent 13$ for a meal. Why pay 13$ for McDonald’s crap when you could pay 13$ for high quality food?
If you’re in the area and need a quick bite while at work this place is a perfect stop!!

As a Binghamton, NY Native, this place is HOME! From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly, questions answered, and food was fresh. I was nervous because I know if spiedies aren’t marinated long enough, you just get chunks of chicken, but the owner assured me that 48 hours of marination, and WOW! they delivered! Wow! I have to say these were some of the most juicy, flavorful, tender spiedies I’ve had in my 37 years, 30 spent in upstate NY. The waffle fries were really great too!

I ordered the Hat Trick (3 patties) and added bacon. The “smashed” patty is thicker than your typical “smash” burger joint so win-win there. It was seasoned well and tasted amazing! Only issue is the extra bacon (for $1.50) appears to be only one piece. Generally “extra” bacon is two or more. But again not a huge deal!
Ordered a side of waffle fries which I say is “wow”! Soft in the middle with a crunchy outer. Well seasoned and delicious!
We initially wanted to eat there but there are not many tables for groups of five. All the tables were taken when we came in so we decided to take it home (not a big deal we live nearby)
Some reviews say burgers are pricey. I could see that way. However, the size of the meat in the “smashed” burger is well worth the price.
Overall, highly recommend this place. It’s great to have a good burger and sandwich joint in our area.
