Mandarin is consistently great! Yesterday we celebrated 2 birthdays, and our server Marie was professional and very nice, she wanted to make sure we had a special visit. Thank you to Marie, and the service team in room B! The food is always good and the restaurant was clean. 10/10 highly recommend the Barton St E location.

I went with my brother and his two friends on Christmas Day.
We had to made reservations a few days early. We arrived at 7:00 pm and our reservations time was 7:15 pm. We waited 10 minutes till they call our name and took us to our table.
We got up individual to select what we want to eat. We helped ourselves to the food and desert. They did served turkey, potatoes and vegetables. My brother had their turkey dinner and he told us that the food was very delicious.
The three of us had Chinese food. The waitress came to our table and we ordered beverages. (Cocktails, Wine, beer, tea, etc. They also served water. We can go up has many as times as we want.
The rooms were big. The staff did a good job taken our plates, empty glasses, etc. They made us feel welcome. They do bring the bill at our table. We can pay credit, debit and cash. We can tip the waitress and waiter if we wish.
They also have Restrooms with Wheelchair Accessible Entrances. They do a good job keeping the restrooms clean. They do have free parking with Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lots. They do share the parking lot with other stores, banks, and etc..
On our way out, they make cotton candy if we want one. They do charge. On the way out the door, they gave us a breath mint and thanking us for coming in.

This restaurant is amazing, beautiful scenery and art. It was a wonderful experience for the first time. The food was delightful and plesant, the drinks were top-notch. I will definitely come here again, I recommend for everyone.

Went here a couple days ago for a friend’s birthday party dinner. We all had a great time. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. The staff came out at one point and we all sang happy birthday to my friend. My friend got to eat for free because it was her birthday. The food was very good I enjoyed the ceasar salad, steak, chicken wings, shrimp tempura, and some desserts. The atmosphere here was lively that day with 3 other birthday parties happening and lots of kids. The restaurant is very clean, and comfy. I’d definitely return here in the future.

Our servers Coco and Tuan were friendly, attentive and offered wonderful suggestions. We especially loved the recommended dumplings. Also our favourites like steak, noodles, and hot and sour soup. We come every year for Chinese New Year and we are never disappointed. The dining room and buffet areas are spacious and kept clean and stocked. A fabulous way to celebrate the new year. Thank you!

My buddy and I had lunch today, and we were served by Coco. She was excellent in many ways, very attentive to our needs, kind, and always had a full smile on her face, which made our dining experience so much better. The roast beef with gravy is to die for! 5 stars all around. Thank you!

Had an amazing experience at The Mandarin on Barton in Hamilton, and I’ve gotta give a special shoutout to Coco. From the moment we were seated, Coco was friendly, attentive, and super professional. She checked in at the perfect times, made sure our drinks were always topped up, and had such a positive, welcoming attitude that really elevated the whole visit.
The food was great as always, but the service is what stood out this time. Coco clearly cares about customers and takes pride in what she does — that kind of service makes a big difference. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had here. If you’re dining at this location, you’re lucky if Coco is your server!

I’ve been coming to Mandarin in Hamilton for years and it never disappoints. The food selection is incredible, always fresh and delicious, but what really keeps me coming back is the staff. Wendy the manager runs a fantastic team — everyone is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming every single visit. You can tell she takes real pride in the experience her staff provides. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favour and go. Highly recommend!
