I was genuinely impressed the moment I stepped inside—this restaurant has a beautiful interior that immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience. The staff were exceptionally well trained. One team member asked if it was my first visit, and when I said yes, he kindly gave me a brief tour, pointing out where everything was located, including the restrooms.

The food exceeded all expectations. I arrived around 7:30 PM and assumed most dishes would be near the end of their cycle, but nearly everything I tried tasted fresh and high quality. I didn’t have a single complaint—every item was excellent.

A special mention goes to Tina, who made the end of my visit truly memorable. Her warm service alone is enough to bring me back the next time I’m in the Windsor area.

This is, without question, the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to. A friend later told me that weekday pricing is even better, around $20, which makes it an even greater value. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What an experience we had so much fun here honestly. For a buffet-style Chinese restaurant, the food is actually pretty good. Our waitress was SUPER sweet (I’m sorry I forgot her name, I think it was Maria?), and the overall feeling in here is so nice. You can chose what you want to eat from so many different areas, and they always make sure that the trays get restocked frequently. The highlights for us were the rice, the meat dishes and the noodles. Will for sure come back next time.

My expectations were blown out of the water. This spot was definitely worth the trip across the border! A delicious buffet, that was so clean!!!! The staff was so attentive. There were so many choices. Lots of Chinese dishes, American snacks, sushi, and of course their incredible dessert bar. Also did I mention how clean this place was?! Came during the moon festival so got to try a moon cake which was so unique.

First time at a Manarin buffet. Upon entrance host were very friendly and attentively. The server were also very kind and helpful. (Hot wet towel hand wash was a surprise). I feel like I was at a high end restaurant.
Food very fresh and hot. There were not that much Sashimi choice but tuna and salmon will do. The salad bar was pretty pack with choices. They have a lots of desert.

Sometimes lightning is caught in a bottle. This is a unique experience. The staff friendly, food consistently good. It is a factory that turns out high quality food with a comfortable atmosphere. Other buffets have closed but the Mandarin still stands as the king in a forgotten kingdom. Perhaps it is time you remembered it.

Somehow it was even more welcoming than the typical Mandarin. The staff were amazing the food was delicious, hot, and plentiful….. there seemed to be that little something extra. Our server was Maria (she had help but I’m sorry I can’t remember their names) but they all did the extras that made our experience that much more special. I’ve said lately that (due to the economy) it seems like prices are higher than they’ve ever been but at this location, it was worth every penny. From the greeting upon our arrival, to the warm thank you and good bye, I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Incredible variety. High-end, well prepared Asian cuisine. High turnover guarantees fresh food at all times. Arrive hungry. You won’t regret it.

My family and I have visited Windsor Mandarin Restaurant several times because we appreciate the welcoming environment and the professionalism of the staff. The ambiance is always pleasant, and the team members are generally attentive.
However, during our recent visits we have been disappointed with the quality of some of the food, particularly the rice and noodles. The taste and appearance have not been enjoyable, which has made it difficult for us to fully enjoy the buffet.
Our most recent visit on Sunday, February 8, 2026, was meant to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday and my husband’s new job. Unfortunately, the experience was not what we had hoped for. We spent about $257 for a family of five, yet we found ourselves mostly eating shrimp, meat, fruits, and ice cream because the rice and noodles were not appetizing.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that this visit was meant to celebrate two very important moments for our family, so we had really hoped the dining experience would match the special occasion.
After leaving, we still felt hungry, and the children even mentioned that they are already tired of dining there. This was quite discouraging since we had been looking forward to the outing.
I had initially sent a private email about three weeks ago to management because my intention was not to publicly criticize the restaurant but to encourage improvement and give the team an opportunity to review the concern first. Since I have not yet received a response, I am sharing this feedback here in hopes that it will reach the appropriate team.
We truly hope this feedback will be taken into consideration, as we would like to continue visiting and enjoying the experience at Mandarin Restaurant. We would appreciate hearing from management regarding this concern and how it may be addressed moving forward.

I went out for my birthday and I had an amazing time! The food was great and the service was even better. The women serving us named Amy and Sally were so kind and gave amazing service with a warming and can-do attitude. Not to mention the unexpected but hilarious show up of a neon birthday sign and cheerful birthday singing by the two. Definitely would come again for my birthday or the birthdays of my loved ones
