I love this place. Have been a customer of theirs for many years. I wish I knew her name, but the waitress there has always been friendly (I think she is a daughter of the owners) and provides great service. She always greets me by name…..a personal touch that I enjoy. The food is always excellent. I have my usual items I go for (pork chow mein, mandarin chicken and pork and seeds) Last time I was there I decided to try something new and went for the curry chicken. Oh my! Loved it. They never disappoint here 🙂

ordered pick up and it is always ready and they get the order correct. Shouldn’t have to say this but many times we order and it is wrong from other restaurants.
Food is delicious and good amount. They do the extra thing I ask for like vegetarian egg flower soup (no chicken bits). Their war wonton soup is full of all sorts of things and more like a stew. Very filling. My husband loves it.

This is our go-to for Chinese food from now on. We moved to this area 2 years ago and have been trying to find decent Chinese food. So happy we found Mandarin Restaurant

Excellent price for value. FRESH fried rice, tasted better than what I would regularly get in China itself. Crazy good gem in a small town. If you’re in Ontario, this is MUCH better Chinese food than any “Asian” stuff you can get over there (barring the sushi). Lots of veggies with the meat dish though so know that if you’re going for the beef. Personally wouldn’t recommend the fried shrimp either, it’s the cheaper long ones vs. the massive, juicy and delicious ones they stirfry with. Interesting take on Mapo Tofu (but don’t expect any Sichuan Peppercorns this far north) and a unique twist on SWEET hot and sour soup with an interesting crunch. Also a interesting take on Lo Mein being Chow Mein and Chow Mein being some crazy new invention involving crispy noodles?! Lady Ma is also quick, friendly and the most interesting character in town who is a polyglot with a story worthy of a movie. My new go to place in Eastern Oregon/Western Idaho’s Treasure Valley. 他们会国语,能跟他们讲讲你要什么味道,还有加入不太慢还有你过客气,他们当然肯帮帮你开胃!

I went for the first time tonight. I ordered the appetizer platter, pot stickers, and pork fried rice to go. The appetizer plate should have had crab pops but didn’t, they were just cream cheese. The bbq pork was a little bit of pork crumbles inside a big pocket of wonton. Not sure if the pork and seeds was supposed to be cold, it was cold, but very tasty. It seemed everything is filled with an excess of cabbage. I know cabbage is used in almost everything, but it shouldn’t be the main ingredient. The pot stickers had a lot of cabbage. I guess I could say instead of “wheres the beef!” Where’s the pork!! The pork fried rice is not all that, and definitely not what I’m used to. The one thing I always liked about fried rice was the absence of certain vegetables and the addition of scrambled egg. This has yucky pimento and no scrambled egg. I have never seen fried rice with pimento. I paid a lot of money for food I don’t like. A very expensive lesson learned.

I know better than to order Chinese food to go. It’s not uncommon to get warmed up leftovers. If it wasn’t it certainly tasted like it. Nothing was crispy. Nothing tasted fresh. I have had the same experience in Seattle.
