We are always in a hurry to get into their foods, so please excuse the photos from 2 different take outs! We love the food from Mandarin Kitchen Express, very tasty and good quantity as well. If I have to choose, my favorite would be beef with broccoli… actually they are all very good! Service is quick and always friendly. My teenager kids all agreed these are the real “Happy Meals”.

Great little place, awesome prices good service classic tasty Chinese buffet style food. A good local alternative to like a Panda Express. They do have a drive-thru as well even though it is closed right now for construction or something. Probably the better food than half the buffets in town.

Delicious Lo Mein and Mongolian Beef. I visited during their downtime and got treated well. Made a single portion entree fresh for me since entrees weren’t out yet for dinner service. How cool! Food is a little on the salty side but that could just be me.

Mandarin Kitchen Express was a pleasant surprise. This place is run like a machine! The efficiency is fantastic. I spoke to several locals about where to grab some cheap eats and they all said Mandarin. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The portions are massive and the taste, well what I had slapped. I ordered the one entree of bourbon chicken and lo mein. You won’t find a better deal in Fargo for $8. Thanks for the great meal!

Service was great, portions were large. Unfortunately that’s the only good I have to say. I ordered the 2 entree combo, kung pao chicken & black pepper chicken. Both entrees were dry & tasted & looked old/stale. The fried rice was pretty plain also. I’ll try another restaurant next time I’m in town.

This was so delicious! We’re from Grand Forks. She made everything fresh. It was crisp and full of flavor. Everything was very nice. She brought our food out to us. It was reasonably priced at that. Less than $30 for my husband and I. I would recommend this restaurant. It will be one I return to when I come to Fargo

So I ordered this door dash so I do not know how it is at the location. The food overall is great. I had beef broccoli, Mongolian beef, and lo mein. Both the beef items were great. Great flavor and portion. Lo mean was lacking flavor. I would definitely eat here again… just might go for rice. 8 out of 10

I work right above this place and they are always great. They are quick and very friendly. The food is pretty cheap and you get a lot of it (typically I split it between two lunches). I’ve only had my order really wrong once but it’s such a good place that I didn’t mind much and just ate what I liked. I recommend it for a quick, yummy, good value meal!

The lady on the phone who took my order was so nice!!! She was very knowledgeable of their simple and delicious menu. Her staff was making our order as fast as I ordered it! I’m going out on a limb here, based on my previous delivery experiences, I doubt I will change my review. My guess is the food is going to be fresh, hot and the delivery person is going to be as kind as the lady whom I placed our order with! I’m excited to try some new Chinese Delevery!!! If it is great (as compared to some other places we’ve ordered from around here) this review will not change and one can safely assume they will get what they pay for and excellent service! Update: we got the food and it was hot, speedy delivery and everything was perfect. We will order from here from now on! They do have dark cuts of meat mixed in and I love it! First it has more nutritious value and it also is cooked just right to make it tender. We will recommend them as well!

My new favorite Asian restaurant. You can taste the quality difference of the ingredients used compared to other places. The menu is somewhat small, yet very refined. Prices are unmatched in terms of the quantity of food received. Their peanut chicken is phenomenal, hands down the best I’ve ever had.
Bottom line – Great quality, low prices, and huge plates. Triple win.
