Thank you Jenny and the fam for everything. Our family has come here since the 80s and the are a gem. The food and vibes. Oxnard / Port Hueneme is something because of them. The relationships this family has made with their cuisine is beyond extra ordinary.

Lemon chicken
Mandarin house chow mein
Wor wonton soup.

Food is always good, tasty, and portions are good for dinner items. We’re usually a group of 3 or 4 when we go here and it’s very comfortable. Excellent bar and mixed drinks, especially the Scorpion. Service is generally good but the pace can be relaxed. It’s not about how quick they can move tables.

Easy to recommend, pricey is typical of today’s sit down restaurants, food is generally better then other chinese restaurants in the area.

Ordered take out. My green beans and chicken tasted great but there was barely any chicken. My husband ordered the shrimp and for $20 didn’t seem like enough either. As for the wonton soup I couldn’t eat since there was shrimp (with they would disclose that there was shrimp) because I’m severely allergic. Hopefully the 4.6 stars we saw online was for dine in only cause it definitely was not for us. Not worth the $52 we spent for 2 entrees, pork rolls and cup of soup

Family friendly locally loved Mandarin cuisine.

Great price – and even though it is perfectly fine to dine alone, I would recommend to come here with a group – so you can try different dishes.

Friendly and fast service.

1/2 of my favorite local Chinese food restaurants! I had them cater my work event and they did not disappoint. The tray sizes were very generous (Full shown), but I don’t know if the half tray would have fed the 25-30 staff members. The full trays were more than enough AND we were able to have very full “to go” boxes for at least 10 employees.

Everyone loved the food, especially since it was majority of the staff’s experience eating authentic Chinese food. Pictured is complimentary steamed rice, veggie chow mein, chicken fried rice, and kung pao chicken. Staff advised they like kung pao chicken so I ordered a full tray but it wasn’t as touched as the other entrees, and it was surprisingly very spicy!

Utensils, fortune cookies, sauce, and extra peanuts were provided (and put on the side). Since I ordered for pickup on a busy day, Jennifer was kind enough to reserve a parking spot for me right in the front of the restaurant. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She was patient, made excellent recommendations, and was kind. When I picked up my order, it was on point. No complaints! It was all still warm by the time I made it back to work.

I will definitely order from here again, as I frequented this restaurant plenty of times in the past, but also a few times before my actual work event to give the food a taste since it had been a few years since I last ate here.

Thank you for the memorable lunch, Jennifer + staff!

I have been in search of a good Chinese food restaurant in the Ventura area. I tried this place because it was close to home and due to positive reviews. I found it to be an average Chinese food restaurant. I tried the Chicken chop suey and the Hot & Sour soup for lunch. My total for my order was $23.60. Positives, food was delivered to my car hot. Chop suey was flavorless and only tasted better once I added Soy sauce. Chop suey consisted of a few chopped onions, bamboo sprouts, and lots of sliced cabbage plus small slivers of chicken. Positives: the Hot & Sour soup was good. Not many ingredients in the soup but the flavor was good. I prefer not to have to enhance Chinese food to make it edible. Guess I will continue on my search for delicious Chinese Food.

We really enjoy going here because of the food, and we can’t help ourselves but have the Scorpion for two, and sometimes indulging in their other Tiki drinks. Friendly service, and always a good stop.
