Looks old from the outside and the decor. 100% worth the experience. The pot stickers for an app were awesome they are crispy and unlike any I have had before 8/10. The honey walnut shrip was absolutely outstanding best I have ever had!! Rice, broccoli, and shrimp were cooked perfectly! That was 9/10. For dessert, I had the fried pineapple. It was unique as I have never had it before. 1 pineapple ring deep fried in a similar batter to an elephant ear. I’d give the dessert 7/10. The waitress was very nice ans attentive, my drink never went dry. Highly recommend this place! I will be back often.

We loved every bite at Mandarin House! The appetizers — crab rangoons, egg rolls, and potstickers — were crisp and flavorful, made even better with their bold, high-quality hot mustard. The combo platters were generous and delicious, and my wonton soup and Shrimp Deluxe were standouts.
Shawn, our server (who looks like a young Owen Wilson!), took amazing care of our large group and got every detail right. Great food, great service — we’ll definitely be back!

The food is delectable and the Mid-Mo ambience is reminiscent of a Wong Kar Wai film. some of the friendliest and most attentive staff I have ever encountered at any restaurant I have eaten at, and the crab Rangoon is to die for. I wish mandarin house was my house. 5 stars!

I’ve been eating at Mandarin House my whole life. It essentially formed the very idea of what Chinese food was to me as a kid. One thing is for certain they have the best egg rolls of any place I’ve ever been to. The pork is amazing and it is seasoned perfectly. The vegetables are always crisp and flavorful. The two entrees I always get are either the sweet and sour chicken (which is unlike anyone else’s I’ve ever had) or the Mandarin chicken. The wonton soup is also a great go to. I’ve enjoyed this restaurant for 40 years and the same owner, the same hostess, and one of the same waitresses is still there. I have so many fond and treasured memories spent eating here over the years.

The food is Ok and my experience is limited to a few times while I do know others who swear by this location. The decor is lovely. The fried rice contained no vegetables or egg, just a light dose of soy sauce. The shrimp were tiny. I was expecting something more like what you get from House of Hunan or Cilantro because the prices are the same and menus appear similar, but it’s not. I think this place has the potential overhaul it’s menu to upgrade past a low quality Chinese takeout restaurant with nice decor.

Love getting basically chicken strips and not getting ANY sort of sauce except for KETCHUP for your food. We had to make our own sauce because we weren’t provided any and had to put them in the oven so we didn’t eat uncooked batter.

The food and service was just as amazing as it was 15 years ago. It do not get anymore consistent knowing that anytime I take a trip to Ohio that I can receive a large amount of food for great prices. Anyone should make it a point to stop in for a meal and a new favorite spot.

So far this is the best Chinese food that I’ve had in Ohio. That’s just me though. So it really hurts what I think, but I really enjoyed. The atmosphere is gorgeous, beautiful décor and the employees are very polite.
