First of all, the food is genuinely good. Every dish I’ve tried has been tasty and satisfying. The flavors are well done, and the food always feels fresh. Even though I eat here almost daily, I don’t get tired of it. That alone says a lot about the quality and consistency. You can tell the kitchen actually cares about what they are serving, not just rushing orders out.
One thing I really appreciate is how consistent the food is. Many restaurants are good once in a while, but this place delivers the same quality every time. Whether I come during a busy hour or a quiet time, the food always meets my expectations. That reliability is very important to me, especially since this has become part of my daily routine.
The service is another big reason why I like this restaurant so much. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and respectful. From the moment you walk in, they greet you warmly and make you feel welcome. They are patient when taking orders and always have a positive attitude. As a customer, you feel comfortable and valued, not rushed or ignored.
What really stands out is that their friendliness feels genuine. It’s not forced or robotic. They remember regular customers and sometimes ask how your day is going. These small details make a huge difference and create a pleasant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you actually enjoy coming back, not just for the food but for the overall experience.
The prices are also very reasonable. In today’s economy, it’s hard to find a restaurant that offers good food at an affordable price. This place does exactly that. The portions are generous, the quality is high, and the prices are fair. I always feel like I’m getting great value for my money, which makes it easy to eat here often without worrying about cost.
For a new restaurant, they are doing an excellent job. Everything feels clean, organized, and professional. Even during busy times, orders come out on time and the staff remain calm and friendly. That shows good management and attention to customer experience.
Overall, this restaurant may not be fancy, but it offers what really matters: delicious food, kind service, and affordable prices. It has quickly become my go-to place, and I’m happy to support this business. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place they can enjoy regularly. I will definitely keep coming back.
What truly stood out was how warm and welcoming the staff was. The front lady was so sweet, she even called me Queen ❤️ and it made the whole experience feel personal and comforting.
We kept coming back for their lo mein which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made every single time. And I have to say… their sesame chicken? Easily some of the BEST I’ve ever had. Saucy, crispy, and unforgettable.
If you’re in the Santa Monica area, definitely stop by. I ended up there more times than I planned, which says everything.
We ordered the sesame chicken, lo mein, and shrimp shumai, and crab rangoon. & got exactly that everytime.
BEST SESAME CHICKEN I EVER HADDDD!
We did order togo, but there are tables if you are planning to dine in. However, there is not a public restroom, but they did guide a customer through the back to utilize the kitchens.
The food took a little longer than estimated but it was also Halloween! They had a lot of togo orders, constantly getting calls and dings from mobile orders while I was waiting. I knew I found a good spot.
The person working the front was super kind she also placed my order over the phone. I have food allergies and they were accommodating.
We ordered fried rice, and they were able to make it without egg (which is standard), so you definitely know the food is made fresh!
We also ordered vegetable lo mein which was amazing! The lo mein had thicker noodles than I have had on the east coast, but I actually loved it.
I ended up getting the orange tofu and it was SO good! Still crispy even after a 15 minute drive home in togo containers. My husband got the sesame chicken and said it is the best that he has had in LA (high praise).
It was a large quantity of food, we barely made a dent and now we have left overs for the weekend. With getting a dish like tofu or chicken, a large rice could definitely be split between 4-6 people. Tofu dish or chicken dish could be split 2-4 people. The lo mein would be around 2 if it was your main dish, 4 if a side.
With purchasing basically 4 meals and including a 20% tip, I spent just over $50.
This will definitely be our regular, go-to spot for Chinese food! I am so glad I found it.
Case update: I reached out to Menufy.com and got some help. Hopefully for my money back. Woman on the phone from the restaurant was super rude not letting me speak or be heard to ask for a refund or alternatively an order but for Wednesday night when they would be reopened.
Was quick to hang up too, did not get to speak to her at all. Would not recommend spending money here unless it is cash and you hand it to the cook in person.
