Walked in here at 9pm on a Saturday night. Lady greeted and seated us. Young guy who wore a St Christopher pendant, was our waiter. Ordered the chow fun and Buddhas delight. Everything was cooked perfectly and was served quickly. Waiter was polite, quick and provided great service. Will definitely be back!

Service was decent, but food kinda sucks. It tasted old and reheated. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I thought this place was beautiful on the inside. There were amazing paintings and art on the walls. The atmosphere was great. The service was pretty good. I would say if you really like authentic food, this place is probably five stars. But for me, I’m for some reason not a big fan of authentic Chinese food. So that’s why I gave the food a three. It was overall a good place to eat.

What a treat to find some great Chinese food our first night in town right next to the Best Western Plus. The menu selections had something for everyone to enjoy. Our waitress was very attentive & checked on us often. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Cedar City.

Nice spot to stop by for something quick. Good, fast service and spacious seating. The food was okay. General Tso’s just as expected and good. Bean curd Szechuan style lacked anything numbing and was a little sweet for my taste, but I’m sure other people might like it. The food is pretty run-of-the-mill, Americanized Chinese fair, was odd to see some Thai food on the menu.

We dined here while on our Cedar City trip. It’s nicely decorated inside the historical train depot. Everything we ordered tasted freshly made and like a homestyle flavor. My husband wanted the pu pu platter to try as many appetizers as possible. The family style plates are generous and grateful for a sensible serving of rice on the side. Our server was cheerful and knowledgeable to our questions. The taste and flavor beat out our local Chinese restaurant. Hope to visit Cedar City again next year.

Very good place to eat. We ordered the beef sticks for the appetizer and they were good. Main share dishes were Singapore noodles, Pad Thai special and Happy Family. All of them included shrimp which we liked. They were all very good and similar to what we have enjoyed at other Chinese restaurants. Servers were polite and brought our food out in pretty good time, 10-15 minutes. I wasn’t wowed by the food but is was very good. Will probably come here again when we travel through Cedar City.

Five years ago just after retirement, my wife and I moved from SLC to St George Ut. One of our favorite passions in life, great food restaurants, we thought that it would be next to impossible to find a great Chinese restaurant like Joy Luck in Sandy Ut and we pretty much had given up on any good Chinese restaurant here in St George, the Mandarin in Cedar City was a recommendation from a friend, we were reluctant to go try the restaurant because it’s a 45 minute ride to Cedar City, however we did and what a delicious experience, great people, great service, great atmosphere and the owner Coco will always make sure your food is worth every penny, to this day we have not gone to any other Chinese restaurant, it’s the Mandarin in Cedar City only.
Thank you Coco for the great experience and fantastic quality food.

I’ve been to your restaurant before and truly enjoyed the food, which is why I was so surprised and disappointed by my order tonight.

I ordered a couple of wonton soups, and unfortunately they were the worst I’ve ever had. The broth tasted overwhelmingly like strong soy sauce, with nothing else to balance it. There were only three wontons in each container and no vegetables at all, which is very different from a traditional wonton soup and from what I expected based on my past experiences with your restaurant.

I also requested noodles, but they were missing, so I had to cook my own at home.

I wanted to share this feedback because I’ve enjoyed your food in the past and hope this was just an off night. I would appreciate you looking into this, as it really wasn’t up to the standard I’ve previously experienced.
