We stopped in tonight for dinner, and even though I called last minute for a reservation, the staff was incredibly accommodating and got us in right away. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and seated immediately in a great area.
Our server, Chelsea, was phenomenal from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was on point: clean, professional, well-organized, and absolutely a place I would highly recommend. We ordered the lamb chops, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Although my lamb chops initially came out a bit overcooked, the team addressed it immediately, apologized, and re-fired them without hesitation. The team seemed to all genuinely care about the happiness of the guest experience ( the server as well as management) which goes leaps and bounds in my books. The replacement lamb chops were absolutely fabulous and cooked to perfection, phenomenal flavor and super juicy.
The management team was outstanding, especially Perry, who was kind, attentive, and truly cared about the guest experience. This is the kind of restaurant that takes pride not only in their food, but in their service and how guests are treated. Even the bathrooms were well kept, which says a lot. I d t know how parking was because I lucked out with an open street parking right in front of the building which is probably as common as finding a $100 bill rolling down the street especially since this place is literally on the beach. That being said I would arrive early especially in peak tourist season to be sure you arrive on time.

We went for an early Valentine’s Dinner and I cannot say enough nice things about this place! Our server, Michelle, was kind and personable. The manager Mike welcomed us into the restaurant with a kind smile. The food was incredible! Amazing cook on the steak! And they were able to accommodate my gluten free diet! Very pleased with Mandalay Prime!

I wish I could rate the service even higher. Our waitress Michelle was phenomenal and made Mandalay even more memorable. The food (we got the porterhouse for two) was amazing. I’d also recommend the calamari, the sauces and seaweed it came with was great. We will be coming back here soon, not only for the food and atmosphere, but to hopefully be waited on by Michelle again.

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at Mandalay Prime
My wife and I dined at Mandalay Prime Steakhouse in Clearwater based on a recommendation, and we’re so glad we did. From start to finish, the evening felt special.
Michelle was our server and did an outstanding job. She was attentive without ever rushing us, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the elegant atmosphere.
We started with the Wagyu beef carpaccio, which arrived with a unique and memorable presentation that we thoroughly enjoyed. For entrées, my wife planned on the filet and I was leaning toward the strip, but Michelle suggested the porterhouse with its tableside presentation. She was absolutely right. Assistant Manager Perry brought out the flaming cut, and while it was on the pricier side, the combination of bone‑in filet and bone‑in sirloin delivered incredible flavor and tenderness. The richness from the bone made it even more succulent.
I paired my meal with a single glass of Caymus Cabernet, which was a perfect match.
To finish the night, we ordered the chocolate lava cake, and since it was my wife’s birthday, they surprised us with a flaming cheesecake as well. Both desserts were fantastic.
We don’t dine like this often, which made the experience feel like a real treat. I would highly recommend Mandalay Prime to anyone looking for a memorable night out.

We’ve been here before when it was “Blinkers” and enjoyed it then. Came back in September after they reopened after the hurricane and it’s even better. The manager stated they have the same owners and chefs and now cut their steak in-house. The center cut filet mignon was so tender it melted in our mouths and the seasoning on it was excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes and lemon risotto were both excellent sides. The calamari and accompanying dipping sauce was very good and the lobster bisque was delicious! The scallops were big and tasty as well. The chocolate torte and butter cake were both excellent desserts. Highly recommend this place for top notch steak and seafood.

Once again, we had a great experience. Our server, Michelle ( again) was very friendly, informative and just made us feel welcomed. The food was excellent!! Overall, I was disappointed in the quality of food and service for the price we paid nearing $300 for 2 (with multiple drinks.) However, I’m still rating them decently. The complimentary bread, french onion soup, & lamb were okay (lamb portions are small). The steak had phenomenal flavor with the onions (I removed the mushrooms.) Peppercorn sauce was not great. I was most let down by the $40 side of lobster Mac & cheese. The texture was grainy and flavor was lacking; the lobster itself was good. Our service was sufficient, but not meeting the standard for the cost of our meal.
