Amazing fresh quality Indian food! It’s so good, not greasy. The meat is so tender and the servers are so nice. Nice ambience as well!

The avocado chaat had our votes – fresh, with the flavors delicately balanced. The lamb seekh kebab was another standout – tender, juicy, and clearly well-marinated. The sea bass curry was a bit heavy on the coconut, which overshadowed the tomato flavor. The chicken biryani too could use a little more depth.

The decor is lovely – from the charming rickshaw to the pretty napkin rings. It can get a bit noisy at times, though that’s more about the crowd than the space itself. The service was wonderful; the staff were genuinely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. A good experience with a few dishes that could use a little more punch.

We went to Mandala for dinner on a Saturday night. Parking isn’t easily available and it took us a couple of drive arounds to find a spot. Once we got to the restaurant, we were promptly seat since wasn’t a huge crowd. The ambiance is good and it didn’t feel like a small hole in the wall restaurant.

The service was generally efficient but good. We were a group of 8 and many of appetizers came in pieces of 3s or 6s, but we were advised well to get the right quantities. We were also advised well for the main courses.

The food came out quickly. Over all, taste was OK. it wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t great either. Specially for the Bay Area, where you find excellent Indian food almost everywhere, this was average.

I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and really don’t want to travel much further for a meal, it really isn’t bad. I will definitely try it again in a few months or a year to see if I like the food more.

This place is great for people looking for fancy vibes and a spacious room for dining. The elegant interior and good service made the experience wonderful.

My partner and I got Chicken Korma and Racks of Lamb and the portion was good. Besides the beautiful plating, we were also surprised by the perfectly cooked meats and richness in spices of both dishes.

Price is at a higher end but I love how the experience meets the standard of what they charge. Overall, very good restaurant.

Really tasty food, and I really appreciate that it’s open super late so I have somewhere to get dinner when I work late. I’ll definitely be going here more. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Momo were delicious, and they have imported Indian sodas that are great.

It’s certainly on the expensive side, but given the current economy/inflation, nothing insane. You’re looking at about 25$ for a main.

The food is great, the waiters are attentative, the atmosphere is nice, and they open late too. Their mains are great, mocktails are quite solid too. Would go again, would recommend.

They do takeout as well, so if you feel intimidated but want the food, that’s a good option too.

Had an amazing lunch at Mandala Indian Cuisine in downtown Saratoga! The spacious, beautifully decorated interior, complete with a chic bar, sets a perfect vibe. I tried the lunchtime thali served in a stylish bento box, and every bite was packed with authentic flavor. Definitely a must-visit for great food and ambiance!

Great find after a hike in the hills nearby. Food was truly excellent, especially Gobi Manchurian awed us – a must try, especially for vegetarians. Definitely try at least one starter for their great presentation- I had two starters instead of an entree and did not regret! Service pleasant and attentive without overbearing, decor and atmosphere way above a typical Indian restaurant. Prices reasonable for the area. Highly recommended! Ah, and I could not believe they stay open until 1am!

We were traveling from Santa Cruz and unexpectedly found this Indian restaurant while looking for one that was open around 10pm. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Mandala-themed decor throughout the restaurant. It had a classy and spacious atmosphere that we really liked. We decided to order our food to-go, but we felt like we were missing out on the experience of dining in.
We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Malai Kofta, Veggie Tikka Masala, and the Bread Basket. Unfortunately, the Gobi Manchurian was very small and had too much ketchup, which made it taste bad. The Malai Kofta was just okay, even though we asked for it to be spicy, it was still sweet, which was expected. The Veggie Tikka Masala was also on the sweeter side. The curries came with basmati rice, but we realized that there wasn’t enough curry for the amount of rice and bread we ordered. The breads, especially the butter naan, were burnt on the bottom and almost charred.
Overall, our experience was mediocre, especially considering how nice the restaurant looked. I don’t think I would come back or recommend it to anyone based on this experience. I really wanted to like this restaurant because there aren’t many fine dining Indian restaurants with good food.

Everything overall was great and the food was delicious. This restaurant is a bit on the pricier side, but the presentation and service make it worth it.

I would skip the salmon coco curry. PS the avocado chaat only comes with 3 pieces – the server was kind enough to let us know since there were 4 of us dining, so we added an additional.

The most bland food I’ve ever had. I tried, I really tried. Either my tongue is numb or the food had absolutely no taste, even though we asked for it to be spicy. Even the paneer was hard and rubbery. Even the Mango Lassi was bland and tasteless. Please don’t go here unless you like to see holes in your pocket.
