ABOSLUTELY TOTALLY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
They didn’t give us fries we ordered and when contacted about the issue, all they said was “contact slice, they will give you a refund”.
They don’t care about the customer. Too bad be cause he pizza was good, but the manager there at Leestown is TOTALLY USELESS. Here is a pic of our order and we tipped them….very sad. 1/15/26 6:35pm

Update: I have been eating at Mancino‘s since 1999 I think. It was one of my dear friends, favorite places to eat on his birthday and so I still eat there on his birthday to think of him since he passed. My son‘s soccer team always chose this place to eat after a game so even more amazing memories here. There is always a good crowd in line during meal times. It is always worth the wait. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. And usually Theresa, the owner is on site making sure everything is enjoyable for her customers. Today was no exception, I got the chicken Parmesan calzone and it was amazing. My son got a big pizza and said it was way better than usual. While we were there, she was experimenting with the new fried chicken sandwich that will be on the menu soon. This is one of those third places where you always feel welcome. It’s not Home. It’s not work, but it’s a place to go to relax and enjoy great food and don’t forget the cookie table.
Always good … nice atmosphere. A great lunch choice.

This is my favorite pizza in Lexington. The grinders are delicious too. I’ve been going for nearly ten years and it’s consistently excellent. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because tips don’t go to the workers unless you tip cash! That needs to be fixed. Tip cash or don’t bother tipping.

Great roast beef sub, very flavorful. Toasted bread is crunchy and makes a big difference. I believe they bake their own bread. They have 2 sizes. 8 and 16. I prefer this local spot over the chains.

I heard about Mancinos from my job we had ordered for our work party so I knew I loved the grinder I had gotten so my wife and I were going out with twi of our friends so I suggested mancinos, we got here and there was only one other group of people here ordering so right off the bat it was a plus cuz it was only seconds before we ordered and we all sat down to our choice of table and our food came out very quickly and we ordered a blazing chicken 12 in and a whole steak grinder and two fresh cookies and there was so much food that my wife and I took half home but the food was so delicious that I am so impressed by the whole experience and taste that this is now my new favorite pizza and grinder spot. Thank yall so much for making some unbelievable food and for being extremely professional we will be returning as long as we live in Kentucky. Lifelong customer

TLDR – skip the in-person eating and order online for pick-up since that’s their priority now. We love the food here, but haven’t been in months since it’s pretty far from us. However, next time, we’ll just order in advance and take to go because the same thing happened to us this time as last time – we ordered and they basically forgot about us in favor of to go orders. We waited 30 min for 2 sandwhiches and fries, which is silly when we kept seeing bigger orders leave and we were almost the only ones there. I finally asked and was given the fries that had been apparently ready a while and were a little cold. And was told the sandwiches would be 3 more min. Convenient. When they came soon after, I asked if it’d be faster to order out next time and got a different answer from the server- blaming the cook for forgetting our order. Only when I mentioned the same thing happened to us last time did she apologize. Where has all the good service gone? Why even have a restaurant to sit in? Just open a food truck instead!
Theresa, great to hear from you! We saw your profile on the wall and almost asked to speak to you. We were there today, 10/26, at around 12:30 PM. We definitely were NOT put ahead of to-go customers – last time we visited or this time. At the very least, your employees could check on us or give us updates. I even tipped in advance, but I’m not sure what it was for…again, great food, bad service.

If you are looking for made fresh daily, pizza dough and colossal cookies, this is your place. Dine in is available with order at the counter; however, the carry-out business is incredible. Order after order of fresh, hot Italian goes out the door every minute. A table of cookies—baked daily—are waiting at the counter. Reese’s Cup, chocolate chip and more. Forget the diet and splurge—worth every tasty morsel.
All products—grinders, cheesy bread, etc.—start with an in-house homemade bread. Bread is made every day and the taste will confirm.
Upbeat, friendly and helpful staff make for a pleasant experience at this neighborhood treasure.

I dined at 2 PM on a Friday. I missed the lunch rush, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy.
I ordered the 12” Margherita pizza & a side of marinara sauce. The pizza came out in less than 15 minutes. The server was friendly.
The pizza was phenomenal. It had a thin crust with a nicely crisped undercarriage. The fresh mozzarella was generously portioned and great tasting, the kind that stretches off the slice after a bite. The sliced tomato toppings were acidic with a robust flavor. The sauce was sweet and tangy, had good consistency, and was evenly spread. There was nothing negative to say about this pizza. I loved it and wouldn’t change a thing.
This wasn’t my first time at Mancino’s. It’s been a Lexington favorite of mine for a grinder for years, but this was my first time trying their pizza. I had been missing out.
Pricing was very reasonable & The restaurant was meticulously clean.
I highly recommend it.

Pizza, pasta, and a huge list of grinders! We had a pepperoni and sausage pizza and an order of garlic cheese bread. It was so good!! They bake their own bread here, and you can definitely tell a difference. We also tried a brownie for dessert-highly recommend!!

Went here at peak lunchtime on a Saturday. Place was dead but was really clean, and the menu had a lot to choose from but…the food was just either okay or painfully bland.
