I’ve been to Manchesters about 5 times, all recently. I really like the food, they have some really good cooks there. The waitress has always been very responsive, and we haven’t had to wait long for our orders. When they bring your entree, it is very fresh looking, and well prepared. The portions are generous. The chicken parmesan is the best I’ve ever had. I also like the atmosphere there. I wish I’d discovered this restaurant sooner. An all around nice place to eat out.

While the cheese and sauce were of good quality and tasty, the crust was disappointing, resembling an unsalted cracker and detracting from the overall enjoyment of the pizza. This mismatch between the quality of the toppings and the base left much to be desired. The dough tasted like a 1$ frozen pizza.
Bad Dog Burger: 5.1/10
An utterly average burger that neither impressed nor disappointed. The patty, though perfectly cooked, was bland, and the bun did nothing to elevate the dish.
Supreme Nachos: 5.4/10
These nachos showed potential but fell short in execution. The chips were adequately crispy, but the overall dish felt dry. The chili provided a pleasant sweetness, yet the combination of diced chicken and olives clashed rather than complemented each other.
Value: 5.6/10
Pricing was on the higher side, but the portions were generous. There’s an expressed preference for smaller portions at a reduced price, which might better align the cost with the food quality and customer expectations

I go eat here and get takeout very often. Tonight they missed the mark. I ordered orange chicken teriyaki stirfry that was soup. The peppers and onions were whole pieces, and the steak was so tough. Threw it away. I called the manager and all I got was I’m sorry.

What a wonderful experience!!! Food was amazing, amazing service by Tanya and good decor too. Felt so comfortable and happy. Had the loaded potato skin and Greek pie pizza. Both were crispy, had fresh ingredients and lovely! Super full and couldn’t be at desserts. Will be coming again to try the other items on menu 🙂 and all for reasonable prices!!!

Food is generally pretty good but the prices are a bit expensive for sure. Service is usually pretty good. The restaurant is convenient but can get busy especially since there is no real waiting area and it is a bit loud inside. Sometimes they seem a little understaffed. The inside is due for a renovation. I do not like that people are often smoking outside the entrance door which I guess they allow.

Warm welcoming atmosphere with tasty dishes to suit most everyone.
Had a bit of trouble with waitress not telling us about her specials, and the needs she has.
Restrooms are up 2 steps, harder to get there than conventional restrooms.

I’ve eaten at Manchester’s many times and have always loved my food. However, the Salmon & Poached Pear Salad that I had a couple days ago brought things to a new level. I have never had such an amazing salad! I was so smitten, I told the owner I’d write a review. I should’ve taken a picture, but I’ll update this next time I go. I must have this salad at least twice a month now.

Hidden Gem in N Raleigh. The restaurant has been in the strip mall at Leesville and Fairbanks since ‘89. We moved her in ‘10 and make it a couple times a month. Can’t go wrong with most all menu items. Try the Chicken Parm for a huge surprise! Best in Raleigh (my opinion). This night we had the staple Meatball (house made) Sub and Fries. The wife loves their in house Pizzas and went with the Classic House sans pepperoni. Bartenders are attentive and quick.
Seriously, if ya haven’t been. Go. Only gave it a 4 star on Ambiance because it is what it is. A 30+ yr old strip mall place. But worth it!
