Quick service and good food. I ordered fish tacos and bacon wrapped tater tots. Wall art is fantastic, seating is cozy and the server is pretty. Someone was playing Xxxtentacion in the kitchen so 100/10 for that.

What a great find! A co-worker told me about this place. I went for lunch and was so happy to find Mamut’s! Fast, friendly service and the catfish was delicious the onion rings are amazing!

Ordered the largest steaks. There were three in our party and we each ordered the T-bone dinner with salad bar. Two of us ordered our steaks as rare as possible, and the third ordered medium well. All the steaks were overcooked and contained mostly gristle and fat. The sweet potato was good but the corn side lacked flavor as did the steak. The salad bar was fresh and the desserts were good. Our server was attentive and courteous. We will not be ordering steaks here again.

Excellent salad bar. Bourbon chicken and buffalo chicken wraps were great. Service was very good, and the prices are reasonable. The place should be more crowded.

My partner got the chicken and onion rings. The chicken was seasoned well but dry, onion rings were okay. The steak tips had no seasoning at all, not even salt. The potato wedges was only half cooked. That parts I ate was very soggy and limber and the rest was raw very under cooked. Service was good.

There were four of us at our table. Young children would probably enjoy the murals on the wall. Our server was very pleasant. Food is mediocre at best. I ordered the steak tips which seemed to be a good choice after seeing the other entrees. Salad was very large and okay. Prices were fair. Don’t think we go back. Mt. Sterling doesn’t seem to have any unique or interesting restaurants at this time.

You’ll see and hear a lot of mixed reviews about Mamut. Even friends of ours said they didn’t like it. But we’ve NEVER had a bad meal or bad experience. The food has always been hot and arrives pretty quickly.
