Food was amazing and reasonably priced! Got there shortly after opening and was so happy to see all of the options. It’s charged by weight and I paid $30 for 2.15 lbs of food (2 full to go containers) and a homemade juice. Some of the best African food I’ve had in awhile. Definitely will be back!!

Came here for a quick lunch with family on a time crunch. It’s buffet style and the price is awesome since you pay by the pound. There were so many delicious options and the lady at the counter was so sweet!

My husband and I had never tried fufu and egusi and for several months have wanted to, so after I had surgery my husband wanted to make me feel better so we FINALLY came here and OMG the lady was so damn rude to us. Charged us for FREE WATER!!!!! Talked to us like we were kids and stupid. She totally ruined our first experience with Nigerian food that we’ve been wanting to try forever. She’s in the wrong profession if thats how she treats people who give her their money.

I paid $30 for some stiff ox tails that comes with “white rice only” and canned cabbage (YES!! canned!)! Firstly, I didn’t get the rice which was the beginning of ruining my meal! The part of the meat that wasn’t stiff it was rubbery! Lastly, for $30 canned cabbage shouldn’t be in the equation! I can’t speak to the taste, bc it was just super spicy for no reason! First and last time there! I actually want my money back! However that’ll be very unlikely to happen!

I’m a OTR truck driver from PA I was staying in VA for just a couple of days, I was craving for African food. I googled and found that restaurant .
I went with my boyfriend to buy some food there. We’ve been treated really bad like we came to beg.
She was shouting at us like kids.
She thinks we cannot afford her “luxury”food lol. I’m sure she will never do that if we were whites. It’s a shame, pitiful and pathetic.
even my order came out wrong.
I’m pretty sure it was the owner.she’ll recognize me if she read the comments.
But the other lady at the counter was really nice an respectful.
Lady is very wicked to treat your African brother and sister like that. We were just trying to support your business thinking that family.
Anyway it your lost, you would have had a faithful customer. I could even bring you more customers from the terminal.
She made me hate all “African restaurants “

In the area for a show at the theater. Saw this restaurant and been wanting to try. The food is amazing and so flavorful. You can do the buffet, which I did so I can try a bit of everything. Or order from the menu. The staff is so friendly. Guided meditation through buffet and what goes together. It has veggies and vegan dishes so meets all needs. Love the ginger teas. I got ginger and pineapple. Definitely, check it out your taste buds and tummy will thank you.
