I recently had dinner here with 3 of my friends on our visit to New York City. The atmosphere was definitely upscale, felt very fancy. The food was absolutely incredible! Every course was a delightful experience, with each bite tasting unique and delicious. I can honestly say that this meal experience was the best of my life. The only thing I could conceivably complain about was that the servers didn’t seem to pay us much attention. I can’t say for sure why this was, but our primary theory was that we are just so used to the friendly demeanor of midwest servers, that the standard east coast treatment seemed to be unfriendly and unhappy with us. But it is also possible, and at times it may have felt more likely that they weren’t too happy with all four of us choosing the 3 course dinner option, which was cheaper than if we had ordered any of the entrees from the main menu and only one of us getting a drink. The servers always seemed to be in a rush to get away from our table, repeatedly spilling water in their haste, and not appearing to want to chat with us or ask how our meal was tasting. Again, I want to emphasize that the food itself was perfect and the overall experience was fantastic. We just felt that we weren’t being treated with the hospitality that we would have expected from such a nice place.

Great pizza and pasta – but the chicken dish was just awful. The potatoes were overdone and oily and the spice added to the vegetable was not cooked and had earthy flavour.
