Had my second meal at Mama Onesta’s yesterday. The chicken marsala and tortellini Ashley are both delicious! Overall I give this restaurant a 4 star rating just because of the atmosphere….. being a fairly small place with wooden floors, it can be pretty loud inside, and difficult to have a conversation.

I tried out the chicken piccata… I think chefs think this dish needed to be heavy garlic. I couldn’t even taste the lemony sauce at all. Pls someone inform the chef.

Very nice resturant. We came for a baby shower. I didn’t take any pictures as we celebrating and didn’t think of it.
The staff was friendly and attentive.
The food very good. I am not huge into Italian food, but they had dishes I would eat.
The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. You step back and feel you like you were in the early 1900s eating in old dining room with friends.
If you are in the Lockport area, I would stop. Try the sausage and pasta or the chicken marsala. Both excellent choices.
