My first time at Mamma Mia’s. I ordered online never being there. When I got there to pick up my order I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. Lacks curb appeal, but once inside it was magical and super cozy. A small bar and quant dininjng room and the staff exceptionally attentive and super nice. I will definitely be returning, and next time eating there.

I was in Florence last week and had lunch at their namesake. Equally as magical.

Second time ive been to this location and been very disappointed. Tried again to give another chance but wish I hadn’t bothered.

First issue was part of the order was missing. When we called to get the item refunded the first suggestion was to drive back to pick it up. They did refund though when we said no.

Second the food quality, like the previous time was poor. Food lacked any taste. The bolognaise was essentially just ground beef in a pink sauce with unmelted cheese on top. Pasta was overcooked.

Its a shame as we used to enjoy Mamma Mia’s but we won’t be coming back again.

My new Go-To place for take out in Kingston. Their Chicken Ziti Broccoli Alfredo is out of this world. The sauce is fantastic. The buffalo chicken Panini was delicious as well. Night and day from many of the other run of the mill places I have tried when coming down here to the South Shore. Too bad I had to go to work otherwise I would have tried the Pumpkin Spicetini!!!

I recently visited mamma Mia’s restaurant and found the experience to be just okay. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly, but the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered the meal which was decent, but lacked depth of flavor. Portion sizes were fair, and prices were reasonable for the area.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad meal, but I didn’t find anything particularly memorable. If you’re in the neighborhood and craving Italian, it’s a solid option—but not one I’d go out of my way to visit again.

My wife visited your restaurant in Kingston Mass I asked her to bring me a pasta and meat sauce dish home she did the pasta was spaghetti which was very very dry and there was very little meat sauce it was a terrible dish I do not plan to return to your establishment again she did bring home some pizza it was allso terrible and tasted like cardboard. Mamma Mia was a great place to go to in the area and had the best pizza this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad meal at Mamma Mia’s it but I will be sure that I tell my friends and I hope they read this post. I think they have gone downhill in this service and quality of food.

After loving on Mama Mia’s for decades I’m sadly saying goodbye. We dined in a few weeks ago and it was just a bad experience. I work in the industry so my grace goes a long way. But the food simply was not good. Mushrooms inedible, out of mozzarella sticks ok, we get bread w oil expecting an olive oil base, no it was Italian dressing. Who wants bread dipped into that? The entrees were not any better. So tonight I caved craving their eggplant parm. Ordered the Papa platter for me and my hubs to share. The chicken parm was ok, the eggplant.. what is happening there was one tiny slice! One! Paid $34.50 and I’m pissed. The sauce had a sour strange taste and I just couldn’t eat it. Mad at myself for going back. We’ve used them for catering and their hand tossed pizza was always one of my favorites. But this is the final straw. Goodbye Mama!! Not sure what happened here.. a small business starting out wonderful who got too big for themselves? Forgot about the customer? W/e it is I won’t be back. Way too many other options now. It’s not like the early 80’s when you monopolized the pizza market in the area. Thx for the memories!!

A little disappointed. The last several times we ordered pizza for takeout it was not very hot. The first time we thought was a fluke, but it happened again. The first bite near the center was barely luke warm.
