But three stars because of the service. I came here on a Wednesday night around 5:30. Took the bartender over 5 minutes to acknowledge me-with a regular occupied bar, (at least half or more seats were taken with parties 2+ or more) very small bar.
Host asked me how my food was before the bartender did.
Bartender made great drinks but service was terrible. Hoping for better next time.
GREAT FOOD AS ALWAYS THANK YOU CHEFS!
There were 2 adults and 2 kids on a Saturday afternoon on August. We didn’t have to make reservation and we’re able to get seated right away.
The service was cordial, prompt and accommodating.
The food was delicious. They have big portion and small portion (during certain hours) which I find very nice since some dishes can be a lot.
The most poignant of our visit was the dessert it was bigger than expected.
Also their bread is very good as well.
Also, I have ordered take out and my order came out good. They were on time with my order and prepared it as ordered.
I went a second time and I had the same experience as before.
The atmosphere is not the same as the one in Plymouth, it still has the family vibe.
I would definitely go here again and keep bringing my extended family.
1st off, our server Colleen was great.
The food and atmosphere were meh. Classic calamari was okay. Stuffed quahogs – served with a lemon wedge, no butter on side – were alright (if you’re well versed in eating stuffies, you know you should also add butter to ‘em, which we did courtesy of the bread basket). We got the chicken parm entrees with our pasta on the side with Alfredo sauce. Well, the chicken tasted good, although the cutlets were thinly beaten and the batter was sliding off with every cut. The sauce was tasty; not too acidic, just right. ⚠️The pasta was dry and tasteless…bland. We asked for more sauce on the side, added pepper, added Parmesan cheese to liven up the pasta and after all that, we couldn’t come to terms with eating it or tossing that much food, so we took it home and will try to save it somehow. ⚠️The Alfredo sauce was weak and tasted like the powdered Alfredo sauce mix packets you buy at the grocery store…Mamma Mia’s, that was NOT real Alfredo and someone was cutting corners; it really was NOT good . Our dinner was further tarnished by pesky flies in the dining room that would not allow us to peacefully enjoy our meals or company. To top it all off, my husband observed an employee go back & forth a couple times from the kitchen to the restrooms in shorts and slides with socks …not professional attire. We will stick to our regular go-to spot in Bridgewater for authentic Italian fare.
Chicken Parm usually delicious but today no sauce had to use my own. Hopefully I’m not insulting. Somebody’s grandma out there.
