We recently watched an episode of Restaurant Impossible featuring Mamma Lucrezia’s, and Chef Robert Irvine raved about the pizza. We were in the area, so we thought we’d give it a try. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious! We had a Caesar salad, aroncini appetizer, the seafood pizza and the sausage & pepper pizza. It was so good, we ordered more to take home with us. We will be back.

The food was amazing. The presentation of the food was wonderful and they had napkins ring on the silverware which you just don’t see a lot of anymore. I almost did not go in because of the slot machines but trust me it’s worth it go in and have a wonderful dinner.

My husband and I went here for dinner and he ordered the Veal Parmigiana and I ordered the Chicken Florentine. Both meals were absolutely incredible — full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully served. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made the experience even better. We can’t wait to go back!

When we first walked in, we were a little uncertain as it was completely empty. But the place filled up quickly letting us know this was a great place. We are pretty sure the waitress was also the cook, but she did a great job of balancing everything. We saw no one else working. The food was amazing- really surprising giving the fact we only saw the cook working. I had the chicken parm and the other dish was a seafood vodka- and as you can see we cleaned out plates. Definitely exceeded expectations. A must try when in town!

We were visiting Penn State and all the good local restaurants had no reservations left. Looked at surrounding area and found Mama Lucrezia’s. Decided to take the short drive based on the amazing reviews and so glad we did. Excellent authentic Italian in the middle of PA. Just like mama’s cooking. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

If I could give more stars, I would. Last night, we stopped in close to their close time. We had family from out of town to celebrate our sons birthday and our daughters middle school play. Things got later than we thought for dinner and thankfully Mama Lucretia’s was open. When we walked in, they had enough work already that they probably were going to get out of work late as it was. But when we opened their door, they smiled and warmly invited us in. And even though it was late, they made an amazing dinner for us. The food was incredible. And the server we had went all out to give us a good experience even amongst chaos. We do not normally show up closer to close time for restaurants. But this was sort of an unusual circumstance. They truly knocked it out of the park and I encourage everyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine to check them out. They are a gem here in Bellefonte. Never had a meal here that I didn’t absolutely love!
