I want to give higher stars cause it’s a cool looking coffee shop. There’s a girl here who’s being trained who honestly saved this place. She has a huge bright smile and is just a beam of light. I feel sorry for her working here cause the other lady training her, the pregnant one is honestly AWFUL! I tried to go use the bathroom.. I didn’t know anyone was in there so I just tried the door. And someone inside screamed at me “GO AWAY!” It honestly felt embarrassing and shocking for me. Like everyone in here heard. I just tried the door once. I was waiting for my coffee and wanted to see who would come out. And it was that lady! The manager! Yelling at customers. Idk it was so awkward. She didn’t even say anything. I just see her being a real rude woman. And I feel sorry sorry for anyone who has to work with her. What a nightmare

Great place for a quick breakfast. There lox bagel special is my favorite. They recently remodeled with a new kitchen and still have a great atmosphere of music, comics and stuff. Update: 8 years after I posted my review and we still enjoy coming here when passing through town. I still stick to the lox bagel special.

I can’t say enough about their food and drinks. I highly recommend the Nirvana sandwich, the B.L.A.S.T. sandwich, the breakfast burrito, and spicy egg mountain. I just tried their newest offering, the tuna poké bowl (pictured), and it was also . Also pictured are the Nirvana hot wings; they’re very delicious.

I really loved this place. It would have been very easy for me to get into with my wheelchair, had I brought it, and to get it seated near a comfortable table. Their sandwich menu was well thought out and my selection (the aptly named “Nirvana”) was messy but incredibly delicious. My son ordered the Spicy Benjamin and was equally pleased with his choice. The fries were handcut and crispy. I found a new favorite beer, “Not Your Father’s Root Beer”. A cross between a beer and a soda it went very well with my sammy.

The vibe there was relaxed with several people on laptops using the free wi-fi. The prices were moderate and I felt that I got my money’s worth. I might have to move to Weaverville just to be closer to this place.

First of all my Aunt and Uncle love this place. They love the Dutchman. The inside of the place was something else. They had first addition comic books all over the walls as well as comic posters. If you fan you should stop while going through Weaverville on the 299. The building itself is about 100 years old with brick walls and wooden floors. They do have some great coffee and free WIFI for customers. After a bite to eat don’t forget to look around at the shops or go to a movie. Have fun in this neck of the woods.

Simple food options and surprisingly good coffee for a small town restaurant on the highway.

The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, but the scrambled eggs were a bit overdone and dry.

The “Sasquatch latte” was really good, as well as the green juice!

The comic books and movie posters make for a really interesting environment to have your meal!

Nice. Quiet, and cool spot for lunch! I have the bacon chicken wrap and my husband had the bagel sandwich. We both enjoyed our meal!
