I gave this place a shot despite lots of bad reviews for mediocre food. I ordered a small calzone and a steak and cheese with mushroom and onion. Neither mushroom or Onion were cooked long enough as they were on the steak and still a bit hard. Not sure why they gave me green peppers but they were on the sandwich and I removed the undercooked green peppers. The Calzone was overcooked to the point it was burnt flavor. It’s really hard to mess up a Calzone but it was done here and in my opinion probably should have never been served to the customer. But none the less I got the very dark Calzone to take home. I do think the sauce was tasty and had a bit of zest. The fries were good served with the steak n cheese. Over all Nothing special here at this restaurant. I don’t recommend it and probably won’t be returning for my dinner anytime soon as the quality and care it takes to make great food just isn’t there at this place. There just isn’t any care in preparation or quality of food here. Cost is about $30 for 2 peeps depending on what you get. Good luck Mamma F’s to keep my business you’ll have to definitely step it up.

This was our first time ordering Mama Franca’s, and respectfully, this should be called chicken nuggets over a bed of pasta, not chicken parm. The chicken was over cooked and dry, like saw dust, couldn’t eat it, there was absolutely no flavor in the pasta, we had to season it ourselves. Definitely was not worth paying 16.95.

1st time ordering. We got a chicken parm with penne and an Alfredo with chicken dinner. We’re so hungry we ate half. Otherwise, the chicken parm was ‘fun to chew’ (overcooked). It was a nice contrast to the also overcooked penne and they ran out of linguine for the Alfredo. Not impressed for $35 the portions weren’t even that large.

I’ve shifted from a fan to not. Quality and service has dropped over past several months. Ordered a12” Traditional. Undercooked. I previously got a pizza that had tons of topping and spread evenly. Tonight, my pizza was thrown together quickly and close to bare on one half. Delivery was quick tonight, 30 minutes. Previous orders took 1hour 45 min. And before that 2 hours passed and was on its way. It never arrived. Mama Franca’s, I am going back to Dominos. It taste like crap, but it’s consistent crap.

There are a lot of positives here. The pizza itself tastes great and really reminds my family of New York pizza, which is why I’d give it 5 stars for flavor. The staff is also super kind and welcoming, making you feel like family. The restaurant is clean, and even the bathrooms are spotless and smell good, which says a lot about how they run things. The kitchen looks clean too, which is always reassuring.
That said, for the price you pay, the topping portion should definitely be better. The last pizzas we ordered barely had any toppings, and felt like it was tossed on carelessly. Most slices ended up being just cheese because the toppings weren’t spread evenly which left us very unsatisfied. Between the lack of toppings and the unevenness, it has pushed us away from coming back. Almost $50 for two pizzas with barely a handful of toppings just doesn’t feel worth it.

Absolutely the worst most expensive non Italian restaurant and pizzeria. My Italian sandwich was absolutely horrible. Wilted soggy lettuce, tomato was not fresh, hardly any meat and cheese and all the condiments were on the side and were not even correct. All for $17.00. They were not even competent enough to drinks on Door Dash. I asked for the manager to call me back about this because she was off and today called me to tell me I was banned from the restaurant for “Harrassing” her staff. I never harassed her staff. I wanted a refund and they refused because they don’t know the first thing about customer service. Look at the pics of my sandwich. They were closed for 2 weeks training new staff and that training was obviously worthless. Don’t waste your time with this place. There are plenty of other real Italian places that know how to treat people right around here.

I ordered two margherita and one Hawaiian, the Hawaiian was ok, unfortunately the margherita was nasty. I’ve never seen before a margherita with sliced tomatoes on top and balsamic vinagrette, also they made a big mistake with the mozzarella. They should have cut it and let it dry before to put it on the pizza, the outcome was a disaster…. soggy and watery pizza, the dough wasn’t bad but they really need to learn how to make a pizza. Born and raised in Italy here.

Entered order around 7:15 pm. tonight (Monday) for home delivery in Glenlakes which is less than a mile from the restaurant. No one showed up but credit card was charged. When we called back after about an hour no one answered. I then drove over to restaurant and it was closed. Not happy that no one bothered to follow up on our order!!
