Everything tasted so good. I drove over an hour passing hundreds of Italian restaurants but this place was worth the trip. I’ve been a loyal customer of Mama Flora’s for about 7 years, and in that time they’ve consistently delivered excellent food and service. Their menu has so many highlights, but the Mussels & Shrimp Special is truly unforgettable — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and something I recommend to anyone trying them for the first time. The Mussels Marinera is another standout dish that never disappoints.
Beyond regular orders, I’ve trusted Mama Flora’s with catering for both my wife’s and my daughter’s birthday celebrations on multiple occasions. Each time, they’ve gone above and beyond — the food arrived on time, beautifully prepared, and our guests were impressed. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both on everyday meals and on special events, but they’ve managed to do both flawlessly.
That said, I do want to be honest about one consistent disappointment: the burger. I’ve tried it about four times over the years, hoping it might improve, but unfortunately it’s always been the same — extremely dry, almost dehydrated, and lacking the quality I’ve come to expect from the rest of their menu. It stands out because everything else is so good.
Overall, Mama Flora’s remains one of my favorite go-to spots. Their seafood dishes, catering service, and overall consistency make them a gem in the area. If they could bring the burger up to the same standard as the rest of their menu, they’d be absolutely unbeatable.

My husband and I have ordered food from here many times, and it’s always delicious. Recently, I ordered catering trays for a family gathering on short notice and chose the vodka rigatoni, chicken aurora, and garlic knots. Everything was phenomenal. My family said the garlic knots were the best they’ve ever had! I’m a small person, but I unashamedly stuffed myself—I couldn’t stop eating!

Found this place while at an event at Riders University. We were looking for a good pizza place with indoor seating. Mama Flora is located in a corner of the Plaza and cannot be easily seen from the road – so unless you know about it, you might miss it.
We ordered fried calamari and a full pepperoni pie. Food came fast and was tasty. 3 of us finished the pie. Pizza was thin crust and a bit spicy- different from the usual which we loved. They serve Pepsi fountain products but have a fridge with some cross-brand selections.
Service was prompt and attentive. They serve a “wedge” bread, included with the order, that was amazing. We also had a dried calamari app that was very good.

My office put our food order in 24 hours in advance for a party of 15. We asked them to have food ready at 12:15. At 1:10 we still did not get our food yet. What was the point of giving the order in advance. Y’all suck big time!!!!!!!!!!!.

I ordered online, on a Monday not very busy and went to pick up my order. Boy am I glad I did not order for delivery. The order was entirely wrong missing the meat on the salad that I paid extra for missing the sausage on the pizza that I paid extra for. Owner did not catch the first mistake nor did they catch the second mistake I had to keep bringing it to their attention waited twice for them to offer me cooked chicken in a separate container then take my pizza back add crumbled sausage and bring it back 10 minutes later. After reheating the pizza the second time to add the missing toppings it was floppy and Soggy. Great flavor poor attention to detail. make sure you double check that you got what you paid for
