Homey place offering meat & seafood dishes made with Corsican ingredients, plus traditional music.

The best meal of my visit to Avignon. I had the veal, my friend had the burger, and we shared the chestnut cake. WOW is all I have to say – the veal was so well cooked, it just fell apart with your fork. I could go on and on, but this will for sure be a meal I think about often after I get home. Thank you for such a lovely dinner!

Everything we ordered was fabulous.
My salad was the most delicious vinaigrette with sweet, fresh greens.
My husband’s “hamburger” was enormous and actually a port filet that was so tender and flavorful.
The ravioli was perfectly cooked with a scrumptious meat/cheese filling. The serving was so plentiful I could only eat half of it. We will eat at Mama Corsica in Avignon again. Highly recommend. Service was excellent.

Located on a quiet street in Avignon. Food was excellent. The hospitality of “mademoiselle” Corsica was very warm and welcoming. Upon asking what “sirop” on the menu was, she graciously poured complimentary glasses for us to try this delicious concoction. In addition, I inadvertently left my sunglasses on our table after dinner. We came back a couple of days later and mademoiselle Corsica was so happy to see us. She had my sunglasses and even mentioned that she had tried to track us down based on our dinner receipt. So kind and sweet. Highly recommend.

Although we called last minute to reserve for when the kitchen normally closes, the owner was so kind to wait for us and always kept a smile.
Such a beautiful ambiance, interesting menu, professional, patient and kind owner which really started our trip to Avignon perfectly.
If you’re looking for a welcoming experience, a comforting meal and in a beautiful area this is the place to go.
We really recommend the Filet de Veau with the Corsican red wine, it was delicious and balanced.
Thank you again and god bless you

I was looking for a good place where to eat fish in Avignon which was not touristic and still open after 2 PM. I saw the great reviews and the place didn’t disappoint me at all. Nice atmosphere, fresh fish and delicious combination. Even the salad was original and with unusual ingredients. I Absolutely recommend it. Besides the waiters and the owner kept me company during the lunch. I highly suggest the cream brulee. The best I have ever eaten.

Cosy interior and friendly staff. I had the beignets au brucciu, civet de sanglier and the crème brulèe, all were delicious. Email to make a reservation, greatly recommend!

Very kind service I felt very welcomed!
Food was unfortunately very lackluster.
The fish I ordered was tasteless and on a bed of vegetables swimming in oil. The lobster sauce besides it felt very misplaced, and do not even want to talk about the fried block of potatoes that tasted reheated. I left feeling very greasy.
I hope to try it again and will change my rating as the service was wonderful and the atmosphere beautiful

I’m going to preface this by saying I’ve never had Corsican food before, but this place was fantastic. You have to try the brin d’amour in the cheese platter; best cheese I’ve ever had. Also the brocciu in the burger bun was unexpected, but delicious. The ambiance was great, too, as they turned off all the lights to surprise someone for their birthday. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wanting to have their first foray into Corsican food.
