Delicious!!! The flavors blend so well together! There is also a big portion of food for what you pay. The Caribbean flavor is so exciting. I recommend the rice and beans mix with the beef stew, but I can’t wait to come back and try something different.

Ordered beef and cheese empanadas as well as the ribs meal with rice… The food was absolutely amazing. This place has not only a cool modern vibe, but the staff and owner are all great people who know what they’re doing! I ordered a bunch of food after work this week, (beef stew, ribs, empanada and tacos) came with a bunch of tasty sauces and pico. It was so delicious I ate most of it before the family came home. So goood! Ended up having to cook dinner for them. . It was def worth it.
Menu changes frequently, simple dishes and the flavors are on point! I highly recommend and will be going back very soon..

Please take one time to try Mami’s. The food here is authentic and miles better than any of the American tavern style food that every restaurant in Laconia throws on a plate and charges $30 for. I tried Mami’s (and Dominican/Caribbean food) for the first time yesterday, and the Owner was incredibly nice and welcome to our questions. We tried the beef stew, rice and beans, and macaroni salad. It was amazing, the portions were great, and for the price you can’t get anything comparable in Laconia. We were obsessed with the food after our first try, so we made sure to go back the next day. We wanted to try the empanadas and asked if we could do the beef without cheese and they made them fresh for us. They were the best empanadas I have ever had, and again the price was way less than they could be charging. Please give your business to restaurants like these. They need the patronage and quality, price, and service like this doesnt.t show up often.

Delicious food with great people never disappointed, Empanadas are the best in New England! I had the ribs with a side of chicken today at 3 and the portion left my belly full for the rest of the day/night! Also don’t forget to try the macaroni salad!

The plantains and rice and beans are fantastic. Great value for the price and it’s real Dominican food. I love how it’s not Americanized and it gives a window into the Dominican culture. This truly is a hidden gem in the lakes region
