This is definitely the go to spot for breakfast. It’s like a Mom and Pop diner with home cooked food. It’s connected with a gas station. So it can be a little confusing finding the drive thru, but they do have one. There’s a place called Biddy’s located next to it as well and you have to go around both buildings and then you will be in their drive thru. There’s an actual person standing outside that will take your order, then you pick up the food at an actual window.

Been eating Steak and gravy biscuits for 20+ years and they are still the greatest breakfast biscuits in the game. If you order the Chicken biscuit it’s a BIG piece they give you. The scrambled eggs are moist and not hard and rubbery like most places. The bacon is crisp by default but even if you ask for chewy bacon it’s still stellar. Pancakes are huge but tasty (wish they had them in blueberry). Lastly the staff are just so nice and time efficient in the mornings when it gets crazy. Don’t skip out on the lunch either it’s just as good as the breakfast.

The one here in covington was closed again! So we zipped over to the new one on brown bridge rd.! I loved the new, spacious restaurant! We enjoyed the chicken (which is always good) and tried the meatloaf and it was delicious as well!! I can’t stand dry food! Both dishes were very moist! And the people!! My, my, my what a wonderful crew! They stayed on top of things like when they were getting low on certain dishes! And there was a fairly new employee, but it seemed he’d been there for years, not 2 months! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Very impressed with the whole set up! Nice BIG bathroom, so my sister could go in with her rollator! That’s very important when you’re disabled! And again the people were FANTABULOUS!

We love Mamies. Leave early, there’s always a line…but they keep it moving. Great service, great breakfast. I’m not a fan of the lunch food…but many do enjoy it. But breakfast hands down winner. Love bacon cheese egg biscuits and cheese grits with a large sweet tea
