If you’re looking for delicious Cajun food in Rosenberg, Mamie G’s is an absolute must-visit! We stopped by and were blown away by the amazing flavors and quality of the food.
We tried the sampler platter, and everything was fantastic! The red beans and rice (my personal favorite) were absolutely perfect—full of flavor and comforting in every bite. I also loved the gumbo and the cheeseburger egg roll, both of which were seasoned to perfection. One of the best things about Mamie G’s is that they don’t use pork in their dishes, which makes it an even better dining option for many people.
Beyond the food, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of heart into their cooking. If you love Cajun flavors and appreciate good food, do yourself a favor and check out Mamie G’s! We’ll definitely be back!

My first time…….. Today is July 25, 2025, and it’s awesome. I stopped by on my way, running errands. I was in the mood for paste and shrimp. MAMIE G’S DID NOT DISAPPOINT ‼️

We came to Mamie G’s Rosenberg for dinner. The atmosphere was definitely better fitting for adults. There is a small bar with seating, a room with a pool table, and 4-person tables. Music was playing loud over the speaker as it was 8:30 when we arrived. We ordered Fried fish filets and shrimp which were fried to perfection and well seasoned (a tiny bit on the salty side but delicious nonetheless – probably to be expected with Cajun style food). The cheeseburger with Turkey bacon was tasty as well . The red beans and rice were outta this world – probably one of the best RBR I’ve ever had. The drinks were very tasty as well – overall, the food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. I would recommend and return!

Someone told us about this place. We love it. It’s small but has a very nice vibe, nice music, the service is great. We loved the food. We will be adding this to our list of favorites. It’s little places like this that give you a better experience than larger places. So overall this is a Yes! We had lemon pepper wings, seafood platter and red beans and rice. Delicious! There’s seating outdoors and indoors.

3.8. I’ve had wings & fries, red beans & rice, turmeric rice bowl with salmon & chicken, and more. Pretty good food, nothing stands out. I do pick-up often because it’s convenient and they have later hours. Employees are always friendly.

OMG! My first visit was for their New Year Day plate with fried catfish, black eyed peas over rice, cabbage, and a corn bread…. Everything was DELICIOUS! I think the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. Friendly staff too. We will def be back!
