Rochester is blessed with so much wonderful Puerto Rican food and Mamia’s Island is definitely high on my list of faves! Stopped by for lunch today for the first time, got a small order of rice and pernil + a beef empanada and everything was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, juicy, just right. This will become a frequent lunch stop.

Such a great addition to Ontario! The food is delicious and service is great! It’s a nice alternative fast food restaurant because it’s a home cooked meal ready for you in minutes! Portions are plentiful! They also have a drive thru! The owners are awesome. It’s a perfect location if you’re on the go and certain days they have specials. Try their desserts too!

Pleasant experience, great food, big servings, prices seem very fair for the quantity. We have been there twice, never disappointed. Excellent vegetarian choices; beans rice and plantains and salad. Try it! Also, easy access from the 104. In and out.

Oh my… What a GEM this restaurant is❗ Not only is the food out of this world delicious but the service is friendly and helpful❗ The price to quantity ratio far exceeds the norm❗✅ The beef, pork & chicken were all cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The rice was equally flavorful on its own❗ The empanadas were filled with meat. The flan and the rice pudding were just exquisite. The flan actually tasted and had the texture of a cheesecake (in a positive way) I wasn’t expecting flan to taste different than what I’m used too. So wow❗ Very impressed by the entire experience❗ Bravo to the proprietor and wish them lots of success in the future❗ This is a MUST eat at joint ❗
