This place is delicious all the way. Their fried rice is yummy plus all other fried foods as well. The seafood soup is awesome. The Crab and shrimp boil is a must have. Mangorita is recommended. Plus the empanadas. Yummy!

Mambo is our go to place. We typically order our favorites – Vuelve A La Vida platter “Vida Scampi”, Large Special Mambo Rice, Fried Tilapia, Mambo Shrimp, Empanada, and Mambo Fiesta.
Vida scampi will always be a part of our order. We understand that CoVid affected everything.
So, our typical order of Large Plate of Vida Scampi was cut in half hence being serve in small plate instead of the large plate in addition to doubleing their prices. But, now instead of the rice, salad, and Vida scampi being serve separately they are putting them now in the same plate??? As the prices keeps increasing the portion continues to shrink. Huh!!!
The Special Mambo Rice which suppose to have pork, chicken, and shrimp???? Aside for getting a few pieces of shrimp, there’s no pork, nor chicken to be found.
We also found a hair stucked on the breading of the shrimp on our Mambo Fried Fiesta order.
Very disappointed. We love Mambo so much but the quality and portion is declining.

First time visiting. The place was packed, and now I know why! Food was/is amazing. Service was on point! The drink was great. As long as I am here, I will be going back again, soo many things to choose from….. Authentic Mexican seafood, it can’t be beat!

went in with a friend yesterday for lunch and received the worst service i’ve ever had anywhere in my life, courtesy of wendy. i had to get up to let the host know the server never went out there and she still took her time to get out there after that, couldn’t bother to bring us our waters before our alc drinks were ready since we were out there for so long and pretended like she didn’t see me or my friend every time we had to walk into the restaurant. if she couldn’t handle our table she could’ve asked one of the girls actually providing service on the patio to take us. to be honest the only good think i can say about wendy is the fact that she didn’t ask for our ID.

Will never go back. Everytime I have came, there is always bad service. Their snow crab clusters were over cooked or old tasting. The waitress charged me for 2 drinks even though my drink came with a refill (regular lemonade), plus the lemonade was not natural, so it tasted funny. For an $80 tab, it was a forgettable experience that I will pass on from now on. My waitresses name was Melissa btw.

My family ordered close to $200 worth of seafood yesterday (05/11/25) to go from this Mambo’s Restaurant for Mother’s Day. When we got home we were extremely disappointed and upset to say the least. Not only did they ruined our Mother’s Day dinner but they took us for fools, wasted our time, and money.
Here’s what we ordered: 1. The family pack #2, 2. The Grilled Octopus signature plate, and 3. Large Más Especial Rice.
Here’s what they got wrong:
1. Our family pack meal didn’t come with the bread it was supposed to come with,
2. The grilled octopus was undercooked and the to go plastic container they put the food in had a little hole in it so the octopus sauce was leaking,
3. The Más Especial Rice shouldn’t be called Más Especial Rice. It should be called the Minus Not Especial Rice because it had little to no shrimp, chicken, or pork. This was upsetting!!
They took advantage that it was a busy day because any other day– we would have gone back to get our money back!! So, they took us for fools and we paid extra for just veggie fried rice.
4. They also told us the food would be ready in about 30 minutes. We understood it was a busy day so we waited over a hour!! The least they could have done was make sure our order was made correctly and not missing anything.
5. When we got home, we also found out that our brother had taken his wife to this same Mambo’s a few weeks earlier. They were the only couple waiting for a table of two. However, the hostess gave away their table to another couple who walked in a few minutes after them just because they knew them or maybe because they were the same nationality. We will never know the reason but it was wrong!
We don’t recommend Mambo’s Restaurant for all the above reasons and hope this detailed review helps someone else.
