Look at that sandwich!
What a great place!!! Very clean and bright inside but the sandwiches are incredible.
The guy behind the counter (owner i believe) was extremely nice and knew everything about true Italian cuisine. A lot of his stuff is imported from various locations in Italy. The food is so great. The foccacia bread he used was softer than a marshmallow, and the desserts were even better. The meats are all top quality, you can see how he cares about what he is making over there. I’ll be going back very soon. Not expensive either.

I stopped by this Italian sandwich spot and was absolutely blown away! The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Italian ingredients. What really made the experience special was Anthony, the owner he was incredibly kind and welcoming, treating every customer like family. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every bite. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving a great sandwich and even better service!

The Frankie Bruno was one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever tried in my life, as well as the Dean Martin! This place knows focaccia, and as someone who eats a lot of sandwiches, I can say this place completely blew me away!

You cannot go wrong with anything, that even have a dessert and hot bar! Wow, the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.

New spot in the area getting a lot of hype. They make classic italian sandwiches served on focaccia bread. The focaccia is well made with a soft interior. I got it with italian tuna and it wasnt bad. Needed a little more flavor and I found it oily. I also tried the sopressata one and it was very heavy. Again the ingredients were good just not a balanced sandwich. It reminds me of that overrated italian sandwich shop in nyc all’antico or whatever. I would come back to try some other stuff but I have it at 3 stars based on what I tried.

This place has legit the best sandwiches and pastries. I drove 30 minutes to come try it and it was so worth it. I would come everyday because of how fantastic all the food was. The 7 layer and cannoli were so delirious and fresh too. The staff are the sweetest. It’s such a welcoming environment. I can’t wait to come back to try more. I definitely recommend coming here!! The best part is they even offer gluten free bread which is amazing.

The best Sandwiches in New Jersey! The quality of the mortadela is out of this world, the olive oil is nectar bliss and the bread is spongy like the clouds. I met Anthony! What a gentleman and super friendly!!!! I highly recommend Mambo Italiano.

Times must be tough three slices of roast beef for $17. When I went to eat the sandwich, the roast beef on the ends are rainbow color, which they’re probably old and the bread is stale. Totally disgusting look at the bad rainbow color meat . I would never come here ever again.

This was literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had this side of the Atlantic. It rivals the sandwiches I’ve had in Italy! The ingredients were incredibly fresh. The bread was fantastic (brought straight from Brooklyn) and the portions were great. I also bought a few bakery items and they did not disappoint. The people there are amazing. Stephanie was so friendly and she made fantastic suggestions. I am 100% going back here regularly. Next time I plan on trying their coffee too!

I come to Colts Neck every now and again to see our tax guy, and contemplated packing a lunch because of the limited options nearby. I was pleased to find this little shop and gave it a shot. Open just 2 months, the proprietor gave me a taste of Italy all in a sandwich. Prosciutto that melted like butter, balanced so nicely against the fresh mozz, arugula, Sundried tomato and fresh tomato but it was the focaccia and pesto that bookended the sandwich perfectly. These guys might not have enough stars to wonder if the sandwich and distance are worth the trip but I’d say a resounding YES. Already looking forward to my to go items to replicate at home 😉

Tried the Sophia Loren Sandwich and it was excellent. The eggplant special also very good. My husband devoured the prosciutto rice balls and wants the rice ball with the meat.
Everyone loved the Tiramisu cake, cannolis and pastries Thanks for making our Christmas extra special.

Can’t wait to try more items from your menu.Visitwd again on 10/26/24. Did not disappoint. Had a cappuccino while waiting for my order which was o. Point.
Ordered the small Pacino panini, salad with eggplant and grilled chicken , rice balls, bread from brooklyn (semolina and french loaf), Panelle, pastries and of, course a few seven layers cookies. Everything was fresh and delicious. My new favorite spot.
