Great food and even better service. Karina was an excellent server/bartender—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything.
The food was fantastic. The bandera washuge—easily enough to feed two people. The seco de chivo was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the guatita was also excellent. The ceviche was very good as well; I personally prefer a little more tomato, but that’s just a preference—it was still well done.
One small suggestion: it would be great to see some specials in the future. You don’t see yaguarloco offered much anywhere, and while it’s a tough dish to pull off in the U.S., I really think you guys could do an amazing job with it.
Thank you for the hospitality. If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely be returning.

This place has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Very spacious and elegant. Great for a family dinner or watching a game with friends. Karina our waitress was very attentive and nice. Amazing food and drinks, I had an Encocado Mixto and it’s my new favorite Ecuadorian dish. Can’t wait to come back!

The service and atmosphere were great, but the food tasted bad. The shrimp was overcooked, and the encebollado and alitas had a bad taste.

The service is great! The atmosphere was ok but the music could better.
They definitely have some of the most traditional plates from Ecuador. The rice could definitely be better quality. The “torta de maduro” is highly recommended. The size of the plate is more than enough. If you don’t eat too much I think an appetizer and an entree for two people will suffice. A very nice experience. Will definitely come back for the “torta”.

Not bad service, waitress was on top of it. I ordered a churrasco (I think it was called CH CH CH something) and my boyfriend a fried rice dish. I will say the rice is greasy and raw. The meat in the fried rice was very chewy. We told the waiter who passed and he just said yes but didn’t really take out of it when I showed him the raw rice grains. Service was great though and atmosphere. If food improved, I could come back but until then, definitely not.

Sadly pictures were good but when the food was delivered it was the worst experience ever. I ordered the valenciana paella and the baked clams casino. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. The paella was definitely not fresh, it was super dry, including the lobster, clam, and mussels. Super rubbery, solid dry and the “hairiest” mussels ever. They were so dey that the hairy oart looked like a super bad hair day Mohawk. The shrimps and lobsters were not properly cleaned, you can see the black line and green goo on each. And unless we’ve been in Maine eating fresh lobster to consider that green goo a delicacy.. it should be removed since can be poisonous or toxic.
The stuffed baked clams…where to start. As a starter, Nothing like the picture, then they tasted rancid, maybe they were bad or is an ingredients selection mismatch. The presentation, looked like vomit and raw and on my first bite had to deal with a piece of shelf which can be a safety issue. I’m sorry but for a place with so many fish dishes they should know the basics and unfortunately, a groceries store box paella taste way better than this and that’s a lot to say.
Pros: very generous portion and quick deliver (too quick for a paella that should take over 40 min in the making…)
