Had a great time at Mama Taco! Went on a Friday night and it was so much fun! The music was fire and the food was even better! We had a couple of drinks and also tried the empanadas and tostaditas with chicken. The pickled onions definitely took it to the next level on these. We also had the shrimp tacos and the chimichanga and it was 10/10! This is definitely a spot you want to come for a chill night with friends, good drinks ans good music!

I went for Saturday birthday brunch on a rainy day and it was a fun time! We got the unlimited brunch drinks with an entree and dessert for $36. This is a really great deal considering unlimited drinks are usually $36 just by themselves. They offer bottomless mimosas, white sangria, red sangria and margaritas. They also mix flavors too so I ended up getting a passionfruit mimosa which was really yummy. The bartender/waiter was a mood and made the birthday celebrations even more fun. They mostly play Spanish music so we all had a good time.
They have an upstairs and downstairs but we stayed downstairs next to the swing! We ordered the chicken & waffles and the French toast. We also had the flan and Churros. I was not a big fan of the desserts. All the food had flavor and was well seasoned (7/10) but the portion sizes were a bit small especially considering all the drinks that are flowing. The food did take a little time to get prepared too but I would go back for the vibes and that price.

The food was delicious and flavorful. I ordered the “Si La Quieres” from the brunch menu with steak add on. The portion size was generous. I really enjoyed my food with no complaints.
My drink of choice was the “Hibiscus De Jalisco” which was just as good as the food. I would recommend this restaurant for a date night, get together with friends or casual outing. The music was lively and the service was exceptional.

Those oxtail empanadas!!!!!!!! Whew the staff were so personable, from the bartender to the owner who rolled up his sleeves to help the kitchen when it started to get hectic on a Friday night. I’ve been singing their praises to everyone since my first visit. It’s time for expansion my friend. Kudos to your success!

Went to Mama Taco this weekend to grab food before meeting friends uptown. Had the Chimichanga and it was delicious!! My friend ordered the Pasta Mama which was topped with tortillas. So good! The restaurant a vibe, cute for happy hour or brunch. Theres also outdoor seating and space for your own private party upstairs.
They also had hookah and a DJ! I would definitely come back for brunch and happy hour!

The place was not too packed the day we went there. There was a bad smell in the restaurant near where we sat. We sat at the table near the corner. The service was okay. However, the food was nothing that Wao us. We ordered chicken nachos and cheese quesadilla with rice and beans. The beans were too salty, the rice kind of bland and the chicken in the nachos were a little too spicy.

Although the food here is amazing, I was really disappointed to place an order on DoorDash at 12 PM, only to arrive and find the restaurant CLOSED. Date: SATURDAY 10/25/25
To make things worse, DoorDash still showed them as open and accepting orders, which caused a lot of confusion and hassle. And they almost refused to credit my account the full amount. This is unacceptable DO BETTER.

I went on Tuesday and to my delight it was Taco Tuesday! This was the perfect place to come! They had sales on the tacos and you were allowed to mix them, so I was able to taste a wide variety of tacos. I had birria, carnitas, bang bang shrimp, and the fried chicken one. I also had the churrogasmo and it was to die for! Absolutely amazing, but if you are counting your calories, I suggest that you share because it’s a huge dessert! Tiny the bartender was amazing and very attentive, her energy was magnetic and she was a great server. I will definitely be coming back to try their brunch!

I had high expectations coming in, as I followed them on instagram and the deals seemed great! The bartender was friendly and brought out free popcorn which are topped with a chili-lime powder. Unfortunately, the margarita was okay. A little too sweet, not really strong, but since it was taco Tuesday, they had the free marg deal, so I technically didn’t have to pay for it. I then tried a frozen margarita to see if it was any better, but it was served already half watered down, not that thick frozen consistency that most frozen margaritas have. Flavor wise, it was also okay, nothing special about it, didn’t leave me wanting more. Lastly, the tacos- while they do serve them with a lot of meat and topping, the onions are thick, and they only serve them on ONE tortilla, instead of two, so as a result it’s hard to even pick up the taco and fold it or hold it for the matter, without the tortilla immediately getting soggy and falling apart. The atmosphere- really hot indoors even with the AC being on, so it’s really stuffy and there weren’t even that many people when I went since it was a weekday at noon. Overall, probably wouldn’t go back.
