Rai was honestly amazing! She took such good care of us from the moment we arrived at Mama Sushi. Super friendly, attentive, and just had the best energy the whole time.
She gave great suggestions, made sure we had everything we needed, and really made the experience feel special. And the food… WOW everything was fresh, delicious, and came out perfect.
If you go to Mama Sushi, definitely ask for Rai. She made our night even better and we’ll 100% be back!

Came here on 11/24/25 , because it was my birthday. As you can see me and my partner had sushi. It was very good. It wasn’t too loud. It was quiet, just how I like it. The drinks were good, but I felt like they should add more liquor to the drinks , considering the amount of money you are paying. My server, I forgot her name and the bartender, We’re very nice. Kept making sure we were OK and that everything was good. Would I come back? Yes, I would.

We chose Mamasushi to celebrate my son’s birthday last Saturday — and it was a complete disaster.
We were seated without a reservation, which we appreciated. The server was pleasant at first, took our order, and then completely disappeared. Our drinks never arrived. No one checked on our table. We felt ignored and unwelcome the entire time.
While finishing our meal and planning to order dessert, we overheard a staff member say, “Get them out… I need that table.” On my son’s birthday. That was beyond disrespectful. Moments later, the check was dropped with a quick apology.
To make matters worse, the bill included two drinks we never received. They removed them — but still added gratuity. Tipping is based on service. There was none.
First visit. Last visit. I’ve already disputed the gratuity charge.
Highly disappointing experience.

My girls and I went on Wednesday (02/18), and we had the worst experience. We arrived at 6:15 PM and didn’t get our dinner until 9 PM because the service was extremely slow. They only had one waitress covering all the tables, one bartender, and one person bringing out food and cleaning tables. It honestly felt like there was only one cook in the kitchen as well.
We ordered the spring rolls and coconut shrimp as appetizers, which took an hour to come out, along with our drinks. The appetizers and the sushi were all mid. They literally added canned pineapple on top of the sushi rolls—eeeyuck! It’s supposed to be Latin fusion sushi, but nothing really stood out and the ingredients were not sushi grade. I will not return.
How do you go on a weekday and still receive the slowest service? Imagine the weekends. We found them on TikTok, so beware of how influencers hype up restaurants that are actually mid. Our entire night got pushed back because we didn’t anticipate eating at 8–9 PM with a 6 PM reservation. SMH.

The food was amazing . Our server was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed . The wait time to get out entrees and appetizers was not long. The atmosphere made it better , the music I enjoyed very much . Overall amazing place definitely recommend!!

My bestfriend and I came on a Monday. The restaurant was empty. I mean obviously it’s Monday and we were there at opening but that’s honestly how we like it. We took lots of pictures. Our server was Jay. He was very nice and patient with us. It was happy hour when we went. He explained multiple things on the menu that caught our attention. He checked on us multiple times. The drinks were 10/10 i definitely recommend the margs & sangrias. The food was 12/10

We have been wanting to try out this spot the food was awesome and the drinks. The waiter we had was alright compared to others that were more attentive and talkative with their tables. Guess we came also at a bad time because they were good to have a function of so call 100 guest looked like they weren’t prepared for it because once people started getting there they started putting tables together so they can be seated which we felt some type of way because we felt rushed from the table we were sitting at.

We went to the Brooklyn location on Friday, August 8th to celebrate my daughter Octavia’s birthday. We went to the rooftop and was greeted by Jay. He gave us exceptional service all night long. We went during Happy Hour. The food selection was amazing. EVERYTHING we ate was top notch. We had calamari, sushi, cheese steak egg rolls, wonton tacos, dumplings, and fried snapper. OMG, we could not stop eating. The food was delicious. Drinks were on point. We also met the owner who greeted us with a smile and took the time to talk to us. Their media guy was also cool as hell. This is truly an awesome spot to try. Guess what, its AFFORDABLE!!!
