Try something new and paid close to $100 dollars for two dinner entrees, one extra side, and two slices of cake. The wing dinner was bland, the wings were not fried hard, and the Mac and cheese was okay (I’ve had worse and I’ve had better). The pork chop dinner was supposed to be smothered according to DoorDash, however it came without any sauce. They were okay, seasoned and cooked okay, the mac and cheese again was okay, and the cabbage was not giving cabbage. The extra side was candied yams and again okay (had worse/had better). They attached a menu to the bag and I was shocked by the price difference from door dash to ordering direct from the store. I know door dash is usually an up charge at some restaurants, but 7/8 dollars or more is kinda crazy to me. Also the menu attached to the bag says the dinner entrees come with corn bread upon availability. We didn’t receive any corn bread even though our entrees were 28/30 dollars each if not more The slices of strawberry cake were good, but nothing really stood out to us. For the price I paid for two people to eat, I do have to say I’m disappointed with how our food came. I guess everything was just eh. I could eat it, but I couldn’t enjoy it if that makes sense.

If I could give 0 stars I would. From the service, the food and costs, they all fail. The young women (if you wanna call the them that) who take the orders are horrible. They have no customer service skills and are quite brutish! I paid $54 for a wing dinner, chopped bbq and potato salad. The chopped bbq was horrible and was laden with lots of spice I guess to mask the blandness. The small portion was $15. For the wing dinner, wi ga were soggy, the mac and cheeses was old (dry and oily) and the string beans were offensive. They taste like canned beans and were mushy and flavorless. The potato salad was the only edible thing. But after tasting the other items I lost my appetite. And minority owned business wonders why they fail! The quality is nonexistent and the people employed could careles about customers returning. Fast money ain’t always good money. This place needs to close already. They were better when they were up the street in the smaller place. But who am I?!

Attempted to place an order for my husband and myself. Asked for my husband’s catfish to be in a separate container because I have a fish allergy and would like to try his sides. Staff said I would have purchase everything separate which is insane considering I even offered to pay to for a separate container. Imagine going to a restaraunt and asking for your food to be on a separate plate for an allergy and they say no. Absolutely terrible service. I expected better from us.

I had the bbq ribs with the potatoes salad and Spanish rice. The ribs was tender and juicy. The sauce on the ribs was tasted good. I got a side of Mac and cheese . I definitely recommend getting the Mac and . The chicken wings was fresh and hot. Try the peach cobbler, strawberry cake and the candy yams. I will definitely recommend this black. Owned business to friends and family. This is a great location.

Definitely hate leaving bad reviews…I was hoping that this food would be good but sadly it wasn’t. Had 2 orders of turkeys wings (1 fried and 1 baked) both were really dry. The mac and cheese was bland and mushy, the string beans were mushy and seemed like they were canned. The cornbread and desserts were okay though
