This restaurant was a safe haven for us! We loved the delicious chicken and beans. The price was super affordable and the portions were huge!

If you’re looking to get your grub on this is it. The first thing you’ll notice is that it’s full of local workers eating in and getting take out, always a good sign. We got our food and sat outside on tables meant for the strip mall patrons.
The food is good, really good. My wife got the rotisserie chicken sandwich with a caesar salad side. It was delicious with cheese and cucumber.
My boys split the chicken katsu plate and they couldn’t finish it. The katsu was the best we’ve had on the island.
I had the brisket plate. It was good but I should have told them to keep the barbeque sauce on the side. It was also all chopped and I prefer sliced brisket.
The rice and mac salad sides were good.
Overall I’m rating this place high because of the quantity and quality of food for the price. You can’t really find a ‘bargain’ in Maui but this is close.
If you’re hungry for a filling meal this is it.

We ordered the loco moco, and the ribs/rotisserie combo. The food was full of flavor, service was friendly and the wait time was very timely. After a day of snorkeling at Kapalua Bay we were ready to eat something wholesome and this restaurant satisfied our appetites. We would come back to try more of the menu.

Excellent hole in the wall type lunch counter. Quick food, great BBQ, no complaints. We’re on vacation and looked around for the place that local construction workers were going to. 3 different crews walked in before us so it has to be great. The ribs were a fall off the bone tender and chicken was moist.

Outdoor and indoor seating. A lot of food for the price, the ribs were very tender. I was there 9:20 am and they officially open 11 am, i believe. The lone employee spoke some English, was fluent in Mandarin, really nice guy.

Got the $7.99 special they offer from 11am-1pm. 1/4 chicken, scoop of rice and Mac. You hear it all the time, but that is seriously the best deal you can find on Maui. The rice was high quality sticky rice, just the way it should be, and the chicken was very good and plentiful for such a low price. My wife and I split this plate, but we had eaten a decent breakfast a few hours before.
My only complaint was the Mac salad was lacking Aloha to my tastebuds. It tasted very plain, no pepper, no vinegar, no sugar. Literally just noodles and mayo. Needs to be doctored up, but overall I still give this plate lunch 5stars. Thank you Mama’s R&R!

The famous $7.99 chicken plate is now $8.99 and still a heck of a deal. It’s a big Qtr piece of chicken they serve.
