Passed by this place a ton and finally gave it a shot. The staff was friendly and i meet the owner miss K she was a great host! I got a Sub beef and cheese with fries, shrimp fried rice, and beef bulgogi. All I can say is wow, im kicking myself for not trying this place sooner

The owner of the restaurant is lovely and will explain the dishes to you. This was the best Korean food I’ve had and they have gained a new loyal customer. The kimchi was delicious and not too sour; the flavors are so well balanced in everything.

Very authentic and delicious Korean food served here. Korean Mama is definitely making the napa kimchi and radish kimchi herself (tastes like my mom’s kimchi). Beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi are both top notch. Kimbap dishes were good but I suspect they were frozen before (seaweed wrapping shrunk). Nevertheless, Mama’s Kitchen did not disappoint with their taste. Sorry for no photos; I couldn’t wait to dig in.

We are SOOO happy that we tried this place! It is really a hidden gem in Sanford! Everything is sooo good here! My husband and I ordered 20 pcs of wings (hot and spicy honey garlic) and the rice kimchi beef bulgogi! I would say that none of them are salty even the kimchi and radish. This is the type of food where you could tell that it is mom’s cook. Made with love! I couldn’t stop eating even though I am already full! Definitely 10/10 for this amazing food and service! Thanks to the owner for her great service!

I ordered the Beef Bulgogi with rice, beef kimbap, and pork mandu and they were all delicious! I lived in South Korea for a while so I very much appreciated having this very authentic Korean food. Even the complementary pickled radish and kimchi was tasty! And the owner/chef is so very sweet and accommodating. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Sanford!

This place is not like your ordinary restaurant or have a sit down place to eat its mainly take-out but don’t let this discourage you from trying it out. Think of it as a place where momma cooks your favorite lunch or dinner.
I think I’m in love with 아줌마 요리법(Ajumma’s cooking). She was wonderful and welcoming when I came in. Everyone else was also very nice.The food brought back great memories of when I was in Korea for two years. If you enjoy Korean comfort foods you will love this take-out place. I live about 20 minutes away with traffic and when I returned home to have my lunch with the kids the food was still hot and the wings crispy. I highly recommend the korean wings with the spicy honey garlic sauce and the chicken bulgogi or the delicious rib eye steak bulgogi. The food was delightful and very pleasing to my taste buds.

Wife and I stopped here looking for Korean food and found a gold mine. Mrs. Kay is very friendly and kind and cooks delicious food. We had the beef bulgolgi, chicken wings with fries and the dumplings. Every thing was really good and we will definitely be back

Great stop for Korean food in a market in Sanford. No place to eat take out only so if your not prepared you eat in you vehicle or at a nearby park which I recommend. Her Kim Chee is excellent and different from others I’ve had. I got a Chicken Bulgogi bowl. $19 is a bit over priced in my opinion. I lived in Hawaii for 25+ years and have been to South Korea. In this area I won’t complain because most Asian food in Fla outside of the “Asian Areas” in Orlando there’s nothing.

I recently moved to Sanford and googled Korean food and Mama’s Kitchen at Your Market Sanford popped up and I was exciting to see that they had kimchi. I finally stopped in last week and so glad I did. I got an order of kimchi radish & kimchi. Both were homemade there and both were delicious. Tasted just like the kimchi I got when I lived in Seoul. The owner was very friendly as was the other woman who was cutting up cabbage for kimchi. This will definitely be my goto spot for kimchi. I can’t wait to try the bulgogi & other stuff.

A hidden gem in Sanford!! The food is delicious and the owner Mrs. Kay is a sweetheart! I got the beef bulgogi meal and it comes with homemade kimchi which was packed full of flavor! Definitely recommend everyone to stop by!!
