I’ve been coming here for years but forgotten to review it. This place is great. The food is both traditional and modern. The flavors are an amazing and everything is cooked really well. The portions are large, which is great because this place isn’t cheap but it’s worth the value. The bibimbap, chicken wings, noodles are all really good. The only thing you should know is that they don’t give a lot of side dishes it that’s true of a lot of more modern Korean restaurants. Highly recommend.

Quality food, great taste, and great portions.
The way I judge a Korean restaurant here in the States is: Would I go there if it were in Korea?
Yes. Yes, I would.
The rice was not like restaurant rice at all, it actually had the flavor and texture of home rice. The chicken katsu was crispy in such a good way. The bibimbap had generous amounts of every veggies, and all of it was great.
The place is small and more hole in the wall, but it adds to the charm of being a more unique, real restaurant. This is one of those rare times where the food is a proper 5 star 5 star, if that makes sense?
The one thing I will say (and this is prevalent at a lot of places, but I’m still against it), is the suggested 18% – 20% – 22% tip screen. Unless it’s a restaurant where service is their feature, the standard tip is 15% and it’s just frustrating
Still, 5/5 from me!

Very authentic Korean place. Small place and the wait around dinner time can be hectic since they are understaff and waitlist is confusing. But the food was great. I particularly like bubibamp. Lots of veggies and they even have some jelly like veggies that I rarely seen in other places. Their kimbamp are huge with lots of filling and less rice. But would skip on the tofu soup. It taste a lot like msg with lots of chili powder. But their rice is soooo perfectly cooked!

Came here with my mom and brother and we had a great time! The food was beyond delicious, our eyes were so hungry that we got way more than we could eat, but we took everything home and are excited to eat it later! Might I also say that the portion sizes are gigantic! I ordered the noodles and the bowl was literally bigger than my head and my jaw was on the floor when they brought it out. And it was only $18!!! The staff was very polite and really really helpful, one of the waiters helped us put our leftovers into boxes and was checking in on us constantly! Overall it was a pleasant experience and I’m a little sad that they don’t have Mama’s Kitchen in the south where I live.. Will definitely be back though!!

Found Mama’s Kitchen while craving Korean fried chicken in Bellevue and waiting on my car. Authentic flavors, great lunch specials, generous portions, and a cozy, busy space. The owner was super kind and the service was attentive. I had the chicken katsu and took the fried chicken to go—my kid absolutely crushed it. Worth a visit!

Small and clean restaurant. My first time ordering from an online menu using the QR code. We only ordered cheese tteobokki and a combo entree with tofu soup. Food is good, but a slight pricey.

I’ve been eating here for 3+ years. Their korean food is so good, I haven’t found any other good korea restaurants in the bellevue radius that tops this place. I always get their army stew, tteokbokki, katsu over rice, or kimchi fried rice. It’s my go-to place on a rainy day or when I crave comfort food. Customer service is always different, sometimes waiters would forget to give me water, but i havent had a bad experience thus far.

Good Staff
A friend took me here during my visit and the entire experience was simply beautiful. This is a small and busy place, we went around 3:30 pm for lunch there were still people dining.
The food was very good. Tasty, flavorful and aptly spiced. We ordered the seafood pancake and the chicken katsu rice. Both were good. I personally loved the seafood pancake, it was loaded with various items and could taste each of them individually.
A very good place will visit again.

A good Korean restaurant that does many things. A good place to go with a group of people to get your fill of some soulful food. I wouldn’t say anything here is particularly awe inspirings, but they do every dish well. Good for simple Korean fares. The atmosphere isn’t elegant or designed in any paticular way but it’s very chill. I think the rice cakes are probably their best dish!
