My Brother and I like to get together a couple times a month for lunch. Today we tried Mamas Kitchen in Gallatin TN. The food was great. Service was wonderful and we even got to poke a little fun at the Owner for his Ohio State tshirt. We will definitely be back to this Meat and 3!!

I used to really love this cafeteria style eatery. They had great portions, delicious food and fantastic prices. Now the food is not as good, portions smaller and prices much too high for the quality. Meatloaf was tough, dry and not seasoned. Tomato sauce on top wasn’t even cooked, cabbage was bland and canned carrots not seasoned. You should at least put ketchup with brown sugar on top of meatloaf. It was lowest quality of ground beef with no seasoning. And the reason I used to love coming here was the delicious cornbread muffins…today mine was burnt, dry and flavor not as good as usual.

Great small town Diner with limited but outstanding cafeteria style menu options. Their Chicken Pot Pie is to die for! Extremely nice staff and a great place to sit around and meet the folks sitting next to you. This place is a real gem in the community that is getting harder and harder to find. Santa gives it two thumbs up!!

What a terrific little spot to stop for lunch. I haven’t had a meal like that in quite a while. Luckily, I came by on Lima bean day and they were cooked just like my grandmother used to make them. Some of the best deviled eggs I’ve ever tasted. It’s cafeteria style service and the waitresses are really nice and knows everyones names. You can tell it’s the kind of place with a lot of regulars. I hade a wonderful experience and if I’m ever driving through Gallatin again, I’ll be sure to stop.

Food is good but not outstanding, catfish was the best thing but the breading fell off very easily.greens are ok and mashed potatoes are out of a bag. Not bad for $10 a plate now a days but $5 more will get you a killer meal elsewhere
