We stopped by Mama’s Halal Kitchen on our way back from Washington to Atlanta and had a wonderful experience. Since we were arriving close to closing time, I called ahead around 9:35 PM to ask if dine-in would still be possible. The lady on the phone was extremely kind and even took our order in advance.
When we arrived, everything was hot and fresh—the daal tarka, BBQ mix grill platter, and Hakka noodles were delicious and full of flavor. You could tell the food was prepared with care.
As they were getting ready to close, we ordered tea to-go, and even then the hospitality didn’t stop. Another couple arrived just before closing, and the staff kindly allowed them to dine in as well. To top it off, a young girl at the end gave candies to my children, which really made their night.
Amazing food, genuine hospitality, and a very welcoming attitude—especially so close to closing time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great halal food in Charlotte!

The food here is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous for the price, and everything is well-seasoned without being overwhelming.

We did place an order ahead of reaching there. We got bbq platter for 2, tarka daal, chicken hakka and chai. The food was absolutely delicious. Nothing that I could say was bad. From the service to the food to the girls there and their customer service everything was excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for halal food in the area.

This is the best Pakistani food I’ve had in Charlotte. Everything tasted fresh and incredibly flavorful—you can actually taste the ingredients, and the spice level enhances the food instead of masking the flavors.
Absolutely worth the drive. I usually don’t leave reviews unless a place is either very good or very bad, and this one truly exceeded my expectations.

This is by far my favorite restaurant for South Asian food. The food was absolutely delicious.. it was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and authentically prepared. The biryani was aromatic and full of depth, and the chicken/lamb karahi was tender with just the right amount of heat. Every bite reminded me of traditional home cooked Pakistani meals. It also feels like home as the owners and the people that work there were very welcoming!

I was there for their Ramadan Buffett on Saturday night. I loved the place it gives a very much home vibes. Maryam was really nice and welcoming. They had so many options for food as well from kheer, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, channa masala. I ate so much and I will be for sure going back.

Just delicious… I’ve been here 3 days in a row. I’ve tried the chicken tikka wrap, chicken tikka over rice, and chili chicken. All delicious!!! Also the customer service is also excellent.

Would recommend opening a separate space out for a restaurant rather than having it in-between a grocery and butcher shop as it’s pretty small and can feel crowded at times.

Everything is so good about this place. We had a birthday here and they arranged the table set-up for us! Such kind and caring people. Malai boti and tandoori chicken are a must-try! Grilled platter and biryani were also really good. Pineapple cake is out of this world! From the frosting to the cake texture, they nailed everything. Tastes like the cakes you get from Pakistan. Would definitely go again!
