We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted to stop somewhere local for breakfast and found Mama’s Kitchen and I’m so glad we did !! Our server was very polite and welcoming and the food was amazing !! We got pancakes , eggs , grits , bacon , sausage, strawberry cobbler and fried chicken and everything tasted great!! The fried chicken was the best part , it was hands down better than any other fried chicken we’ve had before!! Pricing was good as well for the amount of food you receive, we had 2 kids and 2 adults but got 4 adult meals with sweet teas and coffee and our total cost was only $54. ( $12/person for food ) .

We had the fried chicken, collard greens, pinto beans, chicken, and dumplings and fries. Everything was amazing And that’s coming from a hard critic. Me and my husband are already talking about going back. And all your meals come with dessert too. Go try!

If you haven’t been to Mama’s, you need to run not walk! I love coming here! If you ever get the yearning for a home cooked meal, this is the place to come to. The fried pork chops, pinto beans and mashed potatoes are exquisitely prepared and the gravy is like the cherry on top! You won’t regret paying mama a visit …and guess what…they’re serving dinner too!

Haven’t had the opportunity to physically come into the store however I did order biscuits and gravy this morning via DoorDash. The biscuits and gravy are buy one get one free and you cannot beat two orders of biscuits and gravy for less than 10 bucks. Biscuits were a little dry and undercooked, but overall was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to going into this restaurant and having a meal.

This is a genuine review for Mamas Downtown Kitchen. On my way back to Atlanta airport for the UK. This is a gem of a place. The breakfast and service is sooo very good. And the homemade sausage gravy is amazing. Its a 10* out of 10 from me.

Found this wonderful place via Google. It did not disappoint!! Food was amazing, staff friendly, and prices are great! Best grits I have had. Pancakes reminded me of my grandmother. She would cook pancakes in an iron skillet. The pancakes would have a crispy edge. These were great!

I grew up in the South so I am very picky about Southern food. However, their food is flavorful and DELICIOUS and it brings great comfort and pure joy.
The owners are very nice and both servers that took care of me are wonderful!
I will be back to visit them for brunch and also to try out their lunch and dinner items. 🙂
