I really like this place and I want to support local business However, I was very upset today because a young gentleman whom I believe is the son of the owner was very NOT generous with the portion of my pasta. This is the second time he’s served me food and I will NOT allow him to serve me anymore. I even told him I’ll pay more if I have to. I thought I’d have a meal to last me throughout the day for work but I found myself spending twice for food. They need to be more consistent with portions if they want me as a customer. Other than that, I love a mom and pops business and I hope they thrive but being cheap is not the way. To be fair, he was very friendly though. I’ll update my review to 5 stars if this gentleman stays out of the kitchen . He is too stingy.

That food is good country cooking. What I’d really like to speak about though is how kind the employees are. My husband beat stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately this cost him his voice box. Lots of people treat him poorly and get annoyed at his difficulties communicating. But every time he goes to Mama’s to pick us up lunch he tells me about how kind the ladies are to him. I just want to say thank you! You don’t know how much a kind word means to someone who doesn’t get many!
