The food was absolutely spectacular the chicken was crispy, juicy and flavorful. Upon entering, the wonderful and kind host saw the Popeyes shrimp I was holding and promptly gave me some of his own at no charge. The shrimp were delicious and textured. The Mac and cheese was cheesy, tasty and full of texture. The chicken was clean and tender. The host was so incredibly kind and provided us with complimentary drinks. The service truly elevated the overall experience and was incredible.

The pros: pupusas were adequate, the green sauce spicy and soup was fine.
The cons: the chicken was dry and overcooked, the white sauce watery and the curtido (salad for pupusas) was plain gross, flavorless, flecked with Chilli flakes, and almost all cabbage. I actually went on YouTube and made my own, which turned out great and cost about $1.80 for a huge portion.
I wasn’t impressed. Especially with so many other places in this area that offer the same cuisine.
They also called the chicken “Peruvian style”. No. It is a Salvadorean rendition of Peruvian chicken… and as stated, dry.

Maybe this is one of those places where the food is no good the later it gets in the day. The chicken was dry, fries were good but plaintains were not fresh. The flavor was ok but you ezpect more from a latino place, In summary, mama’s chicken had no love.

Terrible. I decided to order from here because my son and grandmother were hungry and it was the only chicken place nearby. We took the chicken home and it was completely burnt. It was not edible at all, we could not eat the chicken . I was going to go back to the store for a refund but the restaurant closes at 3:30. Terrible terrible terrible . The first time I order from here and the last. If you like charcoal/ burnt Peruvian chicken I would recommend coming here overall keep your money and stay away .

I will never go to this restaurant again. The cashier was giving me a very bad attitude today for no reason. Then, I realized that she did not give me salad and green pepper with my grilled chicken when I was ready to eat my food at home. I went back to the restaurant to get the salad and green pepper. She first ignored me when it was my turn at the counter. I then initiated to talk and requested my salad and green pepper. She continued to give me bad attitude and refused to fulfill my request. She was very disrespectful.

If this is how you treat your potential customers… you can count me out! Called at 9 , Google & the sign on the door said they were open until 10 , girl answered the phone & said the name of the place , i asked if they served pollo saltado, she said closed & hung up on me . I was parked outside the restaurant & saw her laugh after she hung up the phone . I went inside & asked why she told me they were closed , she pretended she couldn’t speak English & then said you want chicken in English & held up some chicken that looked 3 days old. Don’t go there after 7pm on Sundays unless you want to be harassed by drunk, unmasked, mafioso-looking patrons. Chicken was burnt and yuca wasn’t seasoned. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is the worker was nice and the green sauce was spicy.
