The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous proportions and not greasy or oily. Everything was spot on from the butter chicken to the masala chai & kulfi desserts. Owners here seem very kind & proud to prepare / sell their food… This place reminds me of places in the Gulf countries where you can get delicious Indian food with chai karak to go… while filling up your gas tank on the way:) Amazing you can get better quality, authentic Indian food from a gas station than from most (all?) of the Indian restaurants in the entire area, including Bucks county. Great addition to the region & hope they continue to appeal.

The phrase “hidden gem” must have been invented just for Mama’s! Hiding in plain sight, inside the cleanest store I’ve ever seen, is truly spectacular Indian takeout. The owners are kind, patient, friendly and helpful, and the food is easily among the best Indian in the area. For our first visit, we went all-out: chicken curry, butter chicken, garlic naan, cornmeal roti, samosas, mint lassi, and mango kulfi. Literally everything was delicious and we were thrilled. And I’ll be dreaming of that mint lassi all summer long! We can’t wait to go back. So excited to have found them – I hope they’re around for a long long time!

Mama’s Authentic Indian Food Kitchen is exactly what the name promises: real, soulful Indian food. I fully intended to take photos and write a review first, but the moment I opened the containers, the aroma won. Once I took the first bite, there was no stopping until everything was gone.
We ordered saag, chana masala, aloo paratha, paneer paratha, and tava roti, and finished with mawa kulfi and chiku kulfi. Every dish tasted fresh, clean, and thoughtfully cooked, not oily or heavy. The kind of food that fills you up and still makes you feel good afterward. It honestly felt like eating home-cooked Indian food made by mom.
Portions were generous, flavors were spot on, and nothing felt rushed or commercial. By default, the spice level is mild, so if you want true Indian heat, just ask: they’ll do it right.
This place is a hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone searching for authentic Indian food, not the watered-down kind. I’ll definitely be back, hungry and ready to repeat the experience

Just moved back to the area finally had the chance to try Mama’s tonight and was greeted by Deep (sp?) and whom I assume is “Mama”. Both are lovely people and very nice to speak with. Anyway, the food was incredible….we ordered Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken. I can’t decide which I liked better but I’m already looking forward to my next meal there. Highly recommend!

Ok first of all, this is the cleanest convenience store I’ve ever been to, hands down. Gas station attendant was great; everyone was incredibly friendly. On to the food – I wasn’t sure how this worked because it was listed as a convenience store. I called up and they told me what they had available today. I ordered a bunch of items and they did not disappoint. Paneer sauce could win a prize. Spicy curry chicken had a chili infused oil that was spicy but flavorful. Garlic naan and roti were perfect. This was probably the best samosa I’ve ever had and my only regret is that it was not Samosa chaat. They had homemade ice cream- mango and date and it rounded out the meal. Plenty of leftovers even after my husband and I ate. This place is a GEM! I cannot stress enough how amazing this is. I’m so disappointed I didn’t find this place sooner!!!!

I came to this place while visiting family based off previous reviews. I LOVE Indian food so I was excited. I had no idea this was inside of the Shell gas station so I was lost at first.
I got the butter chicken, rice and an order of samosas. The samosa filling tasted ok. I went around 2 PM and they tasted as if they were from the day before [old and sitting]. At that time of day, I wouldn’t expect that.
The butter chicken and sauce were also edible but something tasted off [ginger added in the sauce maybe, IDK]. The rice was great. The only thing I hated was the Roti. I prefer Naan and the wheat flour used for Roti is not appetizing to me. Overall, i’d give it a 4/5. Great customer service and portions.

This has become my family’s favorite spot for Indian food. The quality is consistently excellent and the owners are so kind. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything they serve, but we love the butter chicken, shahi paneer, and palak paneer. Perfect rice and roti also. Thanks Mama & family!

Don’t let the location influence you. This food is the best around! The chicken tikka masala was perfectly spiced, tender, and generously portioned. 10 out of 10 recommend and we will order here again soon!!
