I was visiting this shore town for the 1st time and had this spot in mind to grab a treat. Since i wasn’t that hungry I just got some ice cream which was good. They offer a variety of options from desserts to pizza, burgers, cheese steaks, wraps, salads sandwiches, and more. They offer plenty of seating. The staff its young but helpful. I since i only got a dessert I can not judge the offer options. I know this places has mixed reviews however mine was free of any issues. So if you’re in the area this is am option since their menu offers alot .

This is my favorite place to get soft serve ice cream. My beautiful dog agrees! They are dog friendly and give a free vanilla ice cream with a milk one for your best friend. We also love the chicken fingers and pizza. Everyone is so friendly. We own rental properties nearby so we’re in the area a lot and Mamalukes is a town staple.

Stood in line forever and the employees took no notice of me, addressing a woman behind me and asking for her order. Then I paid 7 and change for a stale cone with okay softserve and sprinkles that had been partially ground into dust. If you want good icecream go to Hoffmans.

The Mac and cheese bites were discussing, they were made out of craft Mac n cheese and they were burnt and not worth 10 dollars for 9 of them. The fries were dry and needed ketchup. Not only were they dry but they were 7 dollars for a small container. I wouldn’t not go back to this place

Great beach front place to get a quick bite. Staff working hard. Many are young and first time job. They are taking pride and trying to keep everything going fast. Enjoyed the atmosphere and pup cup for my boy!

I had a terrible experience at Mamalukes in Belmar Beach last night. My friends and I went there around 10:20 PM, hoping to enjoy a delicious pizza. Unfortunately, our visit turned out to be a huge disappointment.
We specifically requested an extra-large pizza and emphasized that we wanted a fresh one, not the pizza that had been sitting on the front counter. The staff assured us that it would only take 10 minutes to prepare the pizza, so we decided to take a short walk while we waited.
When we returned at around 10:25 PM, we were shocked to find that the pizza was already ready. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration when we opened the box and realized that the pizza was cold. We asked the staff if it was indeed fresh, and they insisted that it was, but the appearance and taste clearly indicated otherwise. It seemed like the pizza had been sitting around for a while.
To make matters worse, we inquired about the pizza that had been on display earlier, and they told us it was gone. However, we could tell that they were not being truthful about it.
The experience was not only disappointing but also wasteful, as we had to throw away the cold and unappetizing pizza. I expected better service and quality from Mamalukes, and I am deeply dissatisfied with this visit.
In the future, I hope Mamalukes can improve their customer service and ensure that their food is served fresh and at the right temperature. Until then, I cannot recommend this pizza store based on my recent experience.

I don’t appreciate that you guys told my nieces the soft serve machine wasn’t working AFTER they paid. You like taking advantage of a bunch of young girls for their money? Should’ve given them that option before they paid. The hard ice cream wasn’t even good. $37 for 4 small ice creams. I don’t even get robbed this bad when I’m in NYC. My nieces friends went as well, got all their orders wrong and everything had to be done again cause they refused to leave until you guys did the order again. Poor service.

i chilled out here at one of the tables for maybe 10 minutes before one of the managers rudely told me i was not allowed to lounge there i was taking up space that could be used for others. there was a total of 3 people there (including me) but the man insisted that beach is for lounging.
needless to say i left before ordering and will never give money to this establishment.

The workers there were very generous with their scoop size for their ice cream. When I first saw the prices I was fairly skeptical, but with the amount of ice cream they gave I was very pleased with it. I also bought the French fries which were very tasty, and the portion was just right, not too big not too small.
