Absolutely perfect place to have breakfast lunch or dinner in a warm home like environment. I feel like sitting in mom’s kitchen and enjoying homemade meal. My favorite is matza ball soup and CHEESE
BLINTZES but everything is delicious and priced very reasonably. Definitely my favorite place to come back again and break my family and guests.

We popped into Mamaleh’s on Christmas Day while visiting Boston from the UK for the holidays. There was a lovely atmosphere – calm yet busy with a great buzz – and the bagels were sooo good. We also enjoyed chatting to Alon, the owner, who is such a great guy. I’m delighted we bought a couple of Mamaleh’s diner mugs that made their way safely back to the UK, from which we enjoy our coffee every day, remembering the time we spent there. One day we will be back!

Maybe one of our new favourite breakfast / brunch (ish) spots in the Boston area?? Very delicious – I especially liked the Lox bagel and the latkes. I like how the breakfast menu in particular has a good amt of vegetarian options for my partner – the lunch menu not so much. But we’re already excited to come back and try the sandwiches, a shake, the French toast, and the chocolate cake!

European here, so little experience with this. However, since falling in love with pastrami in NYC, I came looking for it and found this amazing place. The vibes were immaculate, it all felt very local. Quiet, welcoming, relaxed.

I had a half-sandwich with pastrami and it was sublime. If I lived here, I’d come at least weekly!

The Reuben was spot on. Fresh, good quantity of meat, the bread wasn’t soggy and the dressing was delicious. The deli was clean and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I would definitely return.

The only drawback on this place is the price (it can be quite expensive), but the food is delicious. I like the pastrami&egg best, but the big surprise is the chocolate layer cake, which is heavenly. There’s also lots of options available when you build your own bagel!

Came to Boston for an engineering conference and made it a chore to come and have a sandwich at Mamaleh’s. Ordered a chicken liver, one of the BEST ones I have had in a long time! Good size, fresh and healthy bread, great selection of drinks, and quick service. The place and restrooms were pretty clean too

This used to be a favorite of mine. I guess COVID really did a number on it. Ate here recently and was super disappointed. Pastrami sandwich with maybe two slices of pastrami. Latkes were soggy and cold. Overpriced everything. Maybe I came on a bad day but I recommend going somewhere else for a good sandwich.

We were so lucky to get a recommendation to try this amazing deli near Harvard. The food choices are broad and are hard to get wrong. The matzo ball soup and the enormous egg and mushroom sandwich on a challah roll were amazing. And don’t get me started on the latkes! Super comfortable setting with indoor and outdoor welcoming seating.

If you’re craving a dose of Jewish soul food far from home, please come to Mamaleh’s in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Amazing meal. Not the most generous sandwiches in the world, but boy oh boy do they hitting spot on when it comes to the perfect balance of bread, coleslaw, Russian dressing, and pastrami, the fact that they still have Cel-Ray In Kansas is a double bonus! Latkes were terrific, perhaps 20 seconds darker than I typically cook them. Enjoy! This place is amazing.
