Tried almost everything on the menu. It’s so good!! We ordered the mapo tofu extra spicy. Super authentic and delicious. The fried rice was delicious too. They have their own seasoning called MSG which stands for Mushroom Seaweed Garlic. The umami flavor is superb. Grab a bottle and sprinkle it on whatever you order.

I love this place! The dairy-free soft serve with chewy dried mango is great. Try the chicken sandwich or the beef broccoli. The ingredients are high quality and many are organic. And there are plenty of vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. The ambiance is casual and cheerful.

Like simple and professional looking atmosphere and that food came quick and tasted good. The food price to portion ratio was good and the presentation was good as well.

I’ve been here three times and I absolutely love the MSG chicken and the fries. Both are so delicious. The only comment I have is that I wish the hot and sour soup was more consistent. First time I had it was amazing, the second time it wasn’t really hot just sour, this last time it was just a soup :/ I had to add my own siracha and lime to give it some kick. Still a great place and I definitely will be back!

Loved this newly opened spot. Food was excellent. I had the mapo tofu with mushrooms, extra spicy, and the flavor was traditional. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, which I appreciated. My friend enjoyed the cashew chicken. We both loved the vegan mango soft-serve dessert. Outside tables have heaters.

Service was great. Sam helped us throughout the night and was funny and attentive. The other person working the front on 1/8/26 was also great. Good vibes!

It’s a cute concept. The location is clean and friendly. Easy to order. The food came out quickly, even though it was lunch hour. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the food. The main dish was way too sweet, I’m not a fan of sweet entrees. The fries were too salty and not as crispy as I like them.
I had no room for dessert, but it might be good. They have a nice tea selection.

Fresh! Fresh crispy vegetables, great cucumber side. Cauliflower plate was large, great serving portions. Daises really tasty. All delicious!
(would have liked larger egg rolls)

Food is really great, priced fairly, and the ice cream is an absolute must try. The mapo tofu is the best in the area for sure.

The staff is also always super nice and goes out of their way to be friendly and make sure we are taken care of.

i came here a hour early not realizing they opened at 1130. The manager gave me a card for 20% off if i decided to come back and i’m so glad i did. i had some of the best sweet and sour chicken that i have ever had. Everyone was so nice and the food came out very fast. I will be back next time i visit palo alto.

Overall it’s fine, nice and clean space. Had the beef and broccoli which was fine, mapo tofu was too salty for sure. There’s signs asking for nice reviews…

I also can’t help but cringe / get over the fact that you order yourself, bring the meal to the table yourself, bus the table yourself, get water/utensils yourself and they ask for a 20% tip. This has got to stop.

Given there’s a zillion other Chinese places in the area I’d probably not return. Asian box near here is really good although is not Chinese.
